genuinely what was the point of the entire plot then. "crowley and aziraphale have to avert the apocalypse" them and everyone else in the world are going to die in a few years anyway. "they have to do something about the second coming" everyone's going to die. "they have to figure out their relationship now that the feelings have been spoken out loud" they're gonna spend like 30 minutes together and then they're going to die. and don't give me that "the journey was still worth it even if it ends" bs. they were scared and miserable and lonely their entire lives and then they died without ever being happy.
