A few weeks ago Bert made his way over from Rotterdam to pick up #187. The weather played nice and the handover went smoothly…until his return train got cancelled. 😞Some days later he wrote me about his misfortune and adventures saying, “luckily the bicycle is light so carrying up and down the stairs at train stations is not such a problem.” While that’s not exactly the #newbikeday maiden voyage I was envisioning I’m glad to see the bike past this test too. Fighting some winter darkness with this PALISADE in cosmic lilac! 💜Christian came by a few years ago interested in getting a new touring bike. He had a pretty clear vision of what it should be, but then timing wasn’t right. A year later he came back ready to roll and #186 is the result! I adjusted the standard geometry for his needs. There was lots of fiddling in millimeters to fit everything and i’m really happy with how it came out. Berlin got a surprise dusting a few weeks back and while it didn’t make for good test riding conditions, I did rush out early to take some pictures of #185 in a nice festive setting.
