        “It’s okay, I’m glad you’re okay.” He listens to their story intently, enjoying the way Sangwoo trusted him enough to rant about his day. “That sounds like a tough time…” He’s beginning to get the hint that Sangwoo doesn’t really want to go out, but Bum does – and Bum rarely gets what he wants, so he’s going to try and push Sangwoo, just a little bit. “Yes! I was looking forward to it all day, while you were gone. Can we please go?”

He wasn’t a queer. He wasn’t gay. He honestly thought he was straight until he met Sangwoo. All his other obsessive crushes had been on women. But Sangwoo saved him. Even if he couldn’t remember. Not to mention he was the kind of man who was the most desired. Those who weren’t attracted to him wanted to be him. Who could blame Bum for his love for the man. He shook his head. “No. My uncle knows I left but I doubt he’ll ever look for me. He doesn’t really care.”

“Sangwoo it isn’t bullshit I swear!” Bum exclaimed. Trying his best to assure the younger man. Once his hair was yanked adding to an already pretty painful ordeal tears began to pool in the man’s eyes. “I just liked you too much. I used to follow you. I would take your things. Nothing you would miss. Just some pencils. One time a sweatshirt. I didn’t plan on you coming home. I just came here to feel closer to you.”

Bum crawls out from under the blankets and sits on the floor near the bowl of water that went pretty much unused. “Sangwoo?” He calls again, though his voice isn’t loud enough to reach the man who’s cooking. The smell throughout the house informs him that Sangwoo is probably cooking, so he struggles to his feet and walks slowly into the kitchen. “Sangwoo… Welcome back.” 

Bum spent the 8 hours doing nothing. He ate a few snacks, mostly fruit and whatever miscellaneous treats he could find within the fridge and the cabinet. When Sangwoo comes back, Bum quickly scrambles off the couch to turn the television off and meet them at the hallway. “W–Welcome back, Sangwoo!”

He should’ve known better. He knew how things usually went for him. Of course Sangwoo wasn’t going to be nice to him. He just admitted to being his stalker. He wasn’t going to call the cops but he was going to punish him. Probably beat the shit out of him so he’d leave him alone for good. The frail man choked and gasped. Trying to breathe against the man’s choke hold. Once he was thrown down the stairs he screamed in panic. Once he hit the floor his left leg snapped. He cried out in pain ans sobbed at the pain. 

“So..” He speaks, his feet now on the basement floor, towering over the whining man. “Tell me again this...bullshit story of yours..” He then crouches down in front of him, gripping at the other’s hair to pull his face up towards his. “You like me?...So you break into my house and intrude in my space? Is that it? Or am I missing something? Please fill me in, I’d really appreciate it..”

“I know. I’m sorry.” He really hadn’t expected him to be home this early. He wasn’t going to do anything bad. Maybe take a shirt or a pair of his boxers but really that was all the harm he would do. Bum licked his lips nervously and nodded. Sangwoo was so kind and understanding. He had other crushes before and when they saw his creepy stalker behavior they turned him away. Even called the cops and had restraining orders put against him. But he was different he was being so nice. Even to someone as disgusting as him. He just didn’t want his parents asking questions. That made sense. He didn’t exactly blend in with his group of friends. Bum smiled hopefully and followed him into his room. 

      “…” He’s sad that he’s not able to go with him, but the excitement of a date really lifts his spirits – if only a bit. “Okay, bye, see you when you get back…” He places his hand on the door after it’s closed, tempted to sneak out – if only to feel the sun on his skin – but he doesn’t. Instead, he walks into the kitchen and rummages through the fridge for a snack. He finds an apple and takes it to the living room, where the couch is. He’s already bored…

      His fever is much lower now that the medicine has kicked in. By the time Sangwoo comes to place the wet cloth on his forehead, it’s already below 100 degrees Fahrenheit. His body still aches and his nose is still stuffy, but at least he’s no longer in danger with a high fever.

      He sleeps for another twenty minutes after Sangwoo goes to the kitchen and only wakes up due to a hellish nightmare. His skin is crawling and sweat is pooling beneath him as one sleep-deprived eye opens. “S-Sangwoo?” He calls softly, body trembling from the scary dream. He rolls onto his stomach and very carefully pushes himself up– the towel falling from his forehead and onto the pillow. “Oh…” How did that get on? Did Sangwoo do that? Is he home? “Sangwoo?”

“I swear I’m not a robber or anything! I just liked you to much!” He yelled in a panic. He took deep breaths trying to calm down. “My name is Yoon Bum. I used to be in a lot of your classes in college. You’re just so charismatic and handsome everyone is just so drawn to you. It’s because of that, that I fell for you. I just came here to be closer to you. Please forgive me.”

“......I see.” He paused for a bit and put on a soft smile. “Maybe....breaking into someone’s house isn’t the best way to show that, y’know?” He glances around the hallway, peeking over to see through the other rooms. “Let’s uhm...Let’s talk in my room, okay?” He scratches at the back of his neck in a nervous manner. “Haha...my parents can be kinda strict when it comes to having guests over..so if they were to see you out here in the hallway, they’d get pissed and question my choices. Especially my dad...and seeing as they wouldn’t recognize you as one of my regular friends...I’ll just get lectured all night..” He then gestures for him to step into the bedroom beside them. “I’m not mad, so don’t think I am...I just wanna talk, okay?” Again, a soft smile appears on his face as he gestures yet again for him to step into his room.

      “Yeah!” He eagerly replies as he follows Sangwoo to the door. Bum is not dressed to go outside, he’s just wearing an oversized t-shirt from Sangwoo, which he’s only wearing because he spilled sauce on his only pair of clothes. He peeks past Sangwoo to the outside world before returning his gaze back to them.

Sangwoo wants him to feel bad? Well, mission accomplished, very easily too. He felt incredibly guilty that he wasn’t able to come along with Sangwoo, so much so that he pushes himself back onto his elbow and offers, softly; “N-No, I can come – I-I can help you.” But it falls on deaf ears as Sangwoo places a gentle kiss to his cheek and walks out of the bedroom. Bum tries to get up to go after him, but he’s so dizzy he ends up collapsing back onto the futon. He coughs weakly and curls back up into a small ball as he hears the front door open and close. Now that he’s alone with his thoughts, Bum can’t help the tears that fell from his puffy eyes. Sangwoo hates me, he hates me because I’m useless. I’m useless! He has his head buried within his arms as he cries, soon exhausting himself into a restless slumber. When Sangwoo comes back, he’ll most likely find Bum fast asleep with tear stains on his cheeks.

It’s around 45 minutes later when he arrives home. The beeping of the code input could be heard, and it’s not long before he opens the door and steps in. His coat hung on the rack, he walks over into the kitchen and drops off the 4 bags he obtained before heading into the bedroom to see Yoonbum.

“You don’t have to keep an eye on me! I promise I won’t do anything!” His backtalk is interrupted by their offer to go out for dinner. He hadn’t expected that. It takes him a second to calm down from his panicked desire to leave the house, but once he is, he speaks again. “R-Really? Like… Like a date?” Just the idea of going out on a normal date with Sangwoo excited him.
