— Bentley’s brows knitted together as she kneeled down and looked at dying woman's face, her lips pursing as she seemingly mocked her last moments. The woman was a worker, climbing a ladder to fix a light on the upper wall of the park - it would appear to everyone else as an accidental fall but Bentley would know the truth. “Did you fall?” She asked with a small chuckle, “That bench must have broken your fall…” Her eyes looked up at the ledge where the light still had yet to be fixed, “That was a pretty big fall, no one is around either.” Hugging her knees she continued to watch as the woman died, “Shame no one could call for some help, right?” A noise in the shadows caught her attention, placing her chin in her palm she fell silent ready to jump up at the next sound in the direction of the sound.
A noise once again, causing her to jump to her feet and skitter across the pavement in the direction. Bentley was quick, always had been - agility was more her thing then her brothers. “Can I help you with something?” She questioned the stranger, a male - her head tilted to the side as a smile crept across her lips. “Curious? Dumb? Careless?” Her thumb shifted over the pocketknife attached to her hip just under her jacket. “Tick tock my friend.”
Sleepless nights makes you discover the world’s worst secrets. It’s just as if you’re daydreaming and most of those images you get to see are terrifying nightmares.A horrible crime commited in front of the boy’s eyes, but it wasn’t the main thing why he felt frightened. Just the thought of him being no different than the murderer caused the view to be harder to stand;making him retch, as he shuts his eyes as tight as it was possible.
He could’ve run right away. It’s not that he didn’t try to;his muscles were so stiff;he barely could keep the balance. His hand hooking over the belt, ready to pull out the weapon in a critical moment. It’d be a lie to say that Sangki wasn’t surprised by that tiny girl standing in front of him. He couldn’t help musing over the picture of the stranger and her acting. “I didn’t mean to disturb you. Go on. Do your things, whatever they are.” he shrugged off the questions with the raise of both eyebrows.
