It’s actually not that much different than not being one most of the time lol Really the only difference is if you’re given early access when a pack is coming and then it’s just a lot of internally shrieking with excitement and not being able to say anything about it until embargo lifts and hoping you have enough time to get some content together before then😂

Ooh good question! I honestly have no idea because I didn’t even touch pets in my playthrough lol But I would say probably not.

Of course, I will always be honest about my opinions on packs. Despite what people think, EA don’t force us to give only positive reviews; we’re actually encouraged to give our honest opinions on new packs no matter how good or bad they are.

Kind of? It’s not really in a drastic way but you lose the ability to do most things (like cook, sleep, pee, shower, etc) but that doesn’t really matter because being possessed completely maxes out your sim’s needs. When it comes to interacting with other sims, you can only do… totally human things 😂

Oh and you can also plant a bizarre fruit anywhere in the world, even if you don’t have one in your inventory lol

G’day! From what I can tell from the very brief test that I did, teens can solve the mystery, which makes sense because the new Strangerville Mystery trait is available for them too.

As far as I know (I didn’t really look into it too much) there is only one new collectable, which is the bizarre fruit added to the gardening collectables. There’s no new category or anything added. There are some things that you can buy from the Curio Shack like posters, lava lamps and little decorative things, but they’re all also available in buy mode without cheats so I don’t think they’re classed as collectables.

Nah, the bugs are specifically for the storyline. They don’t serve any other purpose and I don’t think they can be used outside of solving the mystery.

EDIT: Ok so I went back and tested the device in my game after having finished the story. You can still use it after the story, you can purchase bugs and plant them on sims and then listen to them BUT it doesn’t really serve any purpose. All that happens, besides increasing your logic, is some flavour text pop ups that depending on the sim could be funny (Death for example has some interesting ones). You definitely can’t use it to catch sims out doing things they shouldn’t be though.

Nope not at all. As you can see from my gameplay Dane was the only one in the household at the time and she was possessed. The possession only lasts for a few hours 😊

Ok so the best for me is without a doubt the Naruto run that infected sims do as they “wander” through town. Omg that made me laugh so hard LOL Apart from that, the world for sure.

The worst would be probably the fact that we can’t opt out of the storyline and just play in the world normally.

As for CC, it shouldn’t be any different than any other pack. We all know the townies can show up with some… interesting outfits lol It’s the same with this pack, I don’t think that’s gonna be fixed any time soon tbh 😕

I only tested in the middle of the story but I’d say probably not. There is a way to reset the story after you’ve finished and the lab is fundamental to the story so I doubt we’ll be able to edit it at any time unfortunately.

Ok, I’m trying really hard not to take offensive to this message because it’s clearly meant to be. I will finished the rest of the EA hairs, when I get time. I do have a life and other things going on you know? I can’t just sit here and recolour hairs all day nor do I want to. I don’t think you realise how long it takes to recolour ALL the hairs, not just the hairs but the accessories as well, in 75 swatches each.

As for “most creators” not doing them because they think it will upset me, I call bullshit. Plenty of people have used my palettes to recolour EA hairs. It doesn’t upset me at all, what upsets me is stupid messages like this. People are welcome to do whatever they want with my palettes, that’s why I made them available for everyone to use. However, that doesn’t mean I’m not still going to do them myself if other people do them. It’s nothing against the people who have already done them, it’s just I have set myself a a goal and I’m going to get to the end of it eventually. In my own time. If that’s not ok with you, you’re welcome to do your own recolours by all means.

As I said in this post, there are no cars or any other vehicles added to this pack. The vans that can be seen in the trailer ARE in the game, but they’re purely a kind of decorative part of the story.
