hi besties and welcome to super mario galaxy!!! after years of wanting to play, i finally got my hands on mario galaxy and i am super excited to play this game for the first time!! i haven't played that many mario games (outside of mario kart) so its a bit of uncharted territory for me but i'm looking forward to it!!! i really hope you enjoy the playthrough and if the series does well enough, i might play galaxy 2 as well!!!

happy 35th anniversary sonic!! 🦔💙

bit cliché of me to say that sonic was what made me who am i today, but it's literally true!!! becoming a fan in the early 2010s was a rough period, especially when there was very little hope that things would get better.

during the roughest periods of my life, sonic was one of my main escapisms. the first movie came out during the worst year of my life and seeing the joy the movie was for me and other sonic fans melted my heart - at the time, it felt like it was the first time we had a sonic w in a very long time.

since then, i've see the franchise regrow so much from the movie sequels, frontiers, shadow gens and crossworlds, along with sharing precious memories with and being apart of a friendly, creative and talented community. this decade, i've finally started playing a bunch of sonic games, catching up on what i've missed out and having such a blast while documenting my experience online!! (you can watch all of that on youtube)

additionally, i felt like i have been the most engaged and passionate about sonic within the last 5 years than i have ever been and i cannot wait for all the future projects coming out!!!!

sand is a bubbly, chaotic little bean who wants to spread positive vibes and brighten people's day!!! she loves pancakes, dinosaurs and her favourite pokemon is lechonk!!! additionally, she is a cinephile and an avid gamer however, she becomes super hot-headed while playing!!!

i've been wanting to make myself a sona for the longest time but i never had the resources or the skill to create one myself!!! recently, i started to teach myself digital art. even though i am a creative person, i've always been terrible at drawing and i never had the motivation to improve because i have pretty much the worst impostor syndrome when it comes to anything creative. this year, i wanted to give digital art a go and bought myself a drawing tablet and watched plenty of youtube tutorials.

during my time learning, i one day decided to do a quick doodle of a possible draft for my sona just to have some visual outline and pretty much every day since, i've been drawing my sona for concept ideas and getting more confident drawing her. i'm still a noob with so much to learn but i'm so glad i can finally share her with the world!!!!
