MEET DR. DAVE BUCHAN 

Dr. Dave Buchan was born and raised in Southern California.  After some traumatic childhood dental experiences, he was drawn to pursuing a dental career from a very early age when his San Clemente dentist helped transform his fears into a passion to help people.  After graduating from Corona del Mar High, (where he met his beloved wife, Blair) he studied psychology & biology at UCLA.  He enjoyed UCLA so much, he went on to complete his dental degree there.  One of Dr. Buchan's passions was mentoring fellow students in prosthetic dentistry. He is constantly taking courses in Restorative, Implant & Cosmetic  Dentistry to keep up to date with the rapid advances in dental care.    Dr. Buchan is committed to providing the highest quality of care to his patients. He has enjoyed serving the San Clemente community by coaching youth sports, being active in his local church and helping low-income families with dental care.  He & his family have also considered it a privilege to have traveled to Papua New Guinea, El Salvador, Belize, and Mexico to provide dentistry in remote areas where no dental care has been available.

Dr. Dave and Blair have been blessed with two beautiful children.  He has enjoyed practicing dentistry and living in San Clemente for the past 20 years.  His outstanding work and gentle manner are the reasons why many of his patients refer others to him.  He endeavors to give thanks to God for any good that comes from what he does.  He looks forward to helping improve your oral health and providing you with excellent dental care.  Dr. Buchan would love to meet you and personally discuss any needs you have.
