If you follow me on Instagram, you know I've been over thinking this Random Teen Character Generator for months. But today I finally just sucked it up and released it!

Use it to generate fun, unique teen characters to use in your Young Adult stories, illustrations or both!

I love this generator because it goes really well with the rest of the prompts on the site. Once you have a feel for your randomly generated teen character pick a prompt to help kick start their story.

MerMay is right around the corner and I’ve been thinking hard about how I can participate in this challenge as a writer. I’ve been trying to figure it out for a few years and with my limited mermaid knowledge, I’ve been stumped. This year in preparation for my possible participation, I’ve been doing some research to learn more about mermaids. I figured some of the resources I’ve found might be helpful to some of you so decided to create this list.
