Leaning forward, she nodded passionately, “Ex-fucking-actly! It’s actually very rude, they’re not giving these kids much credit — I know they’re young but some of their audience must notice the plot holes.”

‘‘They are belittling the next generation? I know for a fact that there must be kids out there like, what the hell? ‘Cos I would have been one of them!’‘ Samson sighed, releasing the built up tension from this kids show. ‘‘I could rant and rave about this for legit hours I am so glad you feel strongly too, oh my goodness.’‘

Adam shook his head in sympathy. He could absolutely see one of the idiots here at the beach asking a question like that. “And how did you respond?”

I politely explained that sun cream is to protect you from the sun and not heat burns. Like if I covered my hand in sun cream and touched a hot stove, I'd still go to A&E.’’ Samson smiled, remembering the girls face when he explained. ‘’I suggested flip flops or to just not come to the beach.’’

“This is probably a really big unpopular opinion but Beyonce isn’t that great.”

‘‘And to think I flirted with you?!’‘

“Guess I’ll just have to find out more about you later.” Graham winked.

‘‘I guess you will but that’s if you see me later,’‘ Samson smirked, confidence coming back.

“I’m sure I will. Are you an asshole?” Graham questioned and smiled. “Why thank you though I don’t think my sister wants to know that I’m as pretty as her.”

Samson laughed at his question, ‘’That’s bit of a hard one. Don’t think I am? I can be sassy at the best of times but that’s it.’’ Feeling slightly defeated, Samson decided to drop the flirts, he didn’t think it was going anywhere much in his favour but he would try again another time...pretty soon. Samson is persistent.

“Do we need to have the talk?” Kennedy teased with a laugh

‘‘Yes, teach me bout them birds and them bees.’‘

“He’s too pretty for me.” Kennedy shook her head with a laugh. “But that’s great! I hope something does happen!”

‘‘I hope something happens too, jeez.’‘ He said honestly but jokingly fanned himself.

“Do you have names?” Graham asked. At the mention of the celebrity, he rolled his eyes. “Brighton Innocent or whatever. Not a fan.” He shook his head and smiled when he saw the other man’s reaction to his compliment. “If you need advice on how to do hair, my sister was in pageants, so I know a lot more about hair than I care to admit.”

‘‘I don’t want to taint ideas but they’re all blunt about it, so, you seem like a clever guy. You’ll get there.’‘ He nodded along also not really knowing how she is, maybe that’s why he hadn’t seen her around yet. Enjoying Graham’s smile, he tried again, ‘‘I see beauty runs in the family, hm?’‘

Kennedy laughed. “Who would you want to be in your sandwich?” She asked.

‘‘Um, Graham of course?’‘ Samson jokingly rolled his eyes. ‘‘Have you seen him? Plus I think we had some chemistry okay. I fully started flirting with him and he didn’t just shrug me off. I might have a chance, you know!’‘ Samson said, as if trying to convince himself.

“The things I would do to him and let him to do me.” Kennedy smirked. “And Henry.” She sat up and looked at her friend. “Like I will be a Kennedy sandwich for them.”

‘‘Oh, my, god. Do not get me started on Henry Archer, I cannot even- He is something else.’‘ Samson laughed at himself then soon broke into fits of laughter over Kennedy’s jokes.

“Sexy Sirens, exactly! I’ve got that look down.” She smiled demurely, so sure of herself. “If by hospitality you mean tequila and the ability to order in food, then hospitality is my middle name!” 

‘‘Well then Waverly Hospitality Archer, you have a hate-watch buddy.’‘

“How is it here? Anybody I should avoid? Anybody I should know?” He questioned. “You know you’d look good with your hair pushed back.” Graham let other man know.

‘‘Well, some of the girls are catty and I mean, they have a zero bullshit tolerance. They’re strong. Most people are assholes but in the intriguing away beside the few and some people are the kind you’d die to know all about. There’s also some celeb here too but I haven’t spotted her yet, might be a rumour though.’‘ Samson nodded, trying to think of everything helpful he could say until his train of thought crashed and set a flame at Graham’s compliment. ‘‘Well, um, thank you!’‘ He grinned, tugging a short baby hair from the back. ‘‘Maybe, I will do it this way more often.’‘ There it was, the slight tint of pink across his nose, but only slight. You’d have to be looking to notice.

Graham smirked as he watched Samson. He was used to people throwing themselves at him, but not like how he was. It interested him. “I just got here. Name is Graham Williams and I’m in 301.” He held his hand out and smiled.

Samson eyed up the corner of his lips, seeing them curve into a smirk. The sudden change of curve in his lips did grab his attention and made him question the thought behind it. ‘’I’ve been here awhile.’’ Samson briefly answered, taking his hand and pushing back one of his untamed locks with the other.

Kennedy giggled and smiled at up at her friend. “Speaking of fine, you know who is? Your coworker.”

‘‘Adam, huh?’‘ Samson grinned as he finished their order, dropping his phone onto the arm of the sofa. ‘‘I did spot you talking to him the other day at the beach, I don’t see the appeal but I work with the guy and we’re just as moody as each other at work.’‘

“It’s a unique way to put it.” Graham said. “Of course I have good taste.”

Samson was hinting at himself to be the one in his range or taste but began to think he maybe wasn’t. ‘’So, I have seen you around before just now. You live in the Ragnatela too, right?’’ He asked, voice quieting down in comparison to before. ‘’Samson Hahn, Apartment 202.’’
