New work for @arrowvideo! I vividly remember that True Romance was one of my first 18-rated video rentals back in the day. I loved the classic 90s film then, and still love it now I’ve revisited it, so it was amazing to get to make this, and work with Arrow for the first time. Of course Quentin Tarantino wrote the screenplay and it was the next film he’d written after writing and directing Resevoir Dogs, so I also remember all the hype at the time, even though the late great Tony Scott was at the helm. Loved the first two episodes of WandaVision and can’t wait to see where it goes! Here’s the colour version of my parody painting of Grant Wood’s American Gothic.

“I want us to fit in”. Can’t wait to tune into WandaVision tonight, so I painted this parody of Grant Wood’s American Gothic to celebrate the return of the MCU!

For my piece I thought I’d celebrate several of his iconic personas and stages of his career, from Ziggy Stardust to Blackstar, via The Thin White Duke and others. The title of the piece is ‘The Sound of Light’. It’s going to be an 18x24” screenprint and as well as the main edition, there are rainbow and gold foil variants (previewed above), plus a pearlescent option exclusive to the subscription series, which gets you all the prints coming this year from ECHO.
