This set of acrylic paints is a great beginner set. It has twenty colors beautiful colors that are just the right amount of thickness so when you spread them on the canvas, it is almost like spreading butter. They do not have a smell, which to me is great. The bottle tops are easy to open so if you are like me and no matter what you do you get paint all over you, you can still open the caps! I call this a great beginner set because it does have a color selection beyond just the basic ROYGBIV, but other sets give you five shades of each color without having to mix them yourself. Don't get me wrong though, I absolutely love this set! I bought the first Artsy watercolor set and I got hooked on them. The colors are so vivid and they just pop! I have tried a lot of different watercolor sets and I always go back to my Artsy set because nothing can beat it. This new design has put the name of the colors under the colors on the set, which I love, especially when you are In a tutorial and they tell you to go grab Prussian blue and all the dark blues look the same! The travel paint brushes that come with the set are pretty neat and have come with each set. What I like about these is the neck of the tube is wide so when you go to feel the brush up with water you don't have to get a tiny stream of water. If I had to choose a con about the set it is that they took off the sponge like pad that you could wipe your brush on. This set is great for beginners to professionals. Another great thing is the affordable price! You can't go wrong with this set, so I hope if you were reading my review to figure out if you should by it, that you will buy it. I just know that you will love it! So I will start out by saying I have never done the pouring art that is trending. So this was my first time! I know, I know it’s obvious right?! All joking aside, the colors in this set are bold and bright and I couldn’t love them more. The few pearlescent colors, which I would love to see a set of just those, were gorgeous! There are two bottles of white, which from all the videos I have watched you need more of. I had a great time doing this, but I can’t say the same for my cat who thinks the hair dryer is the devil!
