Aldarius is a character I made while I was thinking about the various dragons and creating characters to go with each type. Aldarius is a powerful golden dragon with very humble origins. Wanted to demonstrate here his ability to use magic to control ice, fire, and lightning. In particular, he's using his tail as a flaming sword.

Been having fun with Smaugust, but it put a couple pictures in the pipeline that I'm struggling to get done with quicker. So I wanted to do some headshots of other dragons. Wanted to experiment with giving them my own look.

Obsidian dragons are highly intelligent, reclusive, and subsequently quite mysterious. They have psionics like other gem dragons, and tend to also have powerful fire magic. Their affinity for fire even tends to put them around volcanoes. Otherwise, they prefer dark places, which of course are fantastic for camouflaging their ebony hides.

Brown dragons are sometimes mistaken for the weakest of the chromatics. In truth, most brown dragons adventurers are likely to encounter are juveniles that dig through deserts and grasslands, sometimes being mistaken for adults. Adults are usually adept enough to avoid contact when near the surface. Otherwise, accounts of adults usually place them further in the earth or in caves. Brown greatwyrms are another matter. Rumors circulate that they tend to congregate towards the core of the planet, with them being among the largest and most powerful dragons. They can rival the dragon gods, if not surpass them. But that's only a legend...

Continuing Smaugust with a fleshed out version of the white dragon bust I made some time ago. I really liked the design and wanted to make him into a character. So, here's Kor Ix!

For Smaugust, I wanted to be drawing more dragons. Sorta thought I'd be going faster, but I wound up spending more time on this one than I thought.

Wanted to flesh out the design of the Amethyst gem dragon I made recently. Really wanted to see how it looked in full!

Also decided to give him a name. Currently calling him Dominarctos. I think he can use light energy to project beams from the gems, creating pseudo-light sabers.

After seeing the updated designs by RJ Palmer, decided to draw the gem dragons, like I've done for the metallic and chromatic dragons. Never really expected to make these ones since at the time, they didn't seem to get as much attention as the others, but I got the urge to do it so I thought I may as well.

Faves are definitely Amethyst and Sapphire for this set. Amethyst I leaned into design tropes I like and I enjoy how sleek Sapphire feels. uwu

A character I made recently called Ultra Solaris. Wanted to give him star and galaxy patterns, as well as a blue and red color scheme.

This has been in the works for a hot minute. In Moon I used a Litten I named Naoto. I eventually evolved him into Incineroar.
