For my pictures I did my makeup horribly. Crazy dark eyebrows, not blended eyeshadow, messy eyeliner, clumped up mascara that gets on my lids and underneath my eyes, harsh blush, piles of bronzer, and lipstick that's around my lips. After that is a picture of me looking at my finished look. Then me with a smile on my face. And finally I turn around to look at the camera with a full face of makeup perfectly applied, while looking miserable. At least I tried to look miserable but that’s the best I could do. I’m a bad actor.

For my final project I wanted to focus on things like cosmetics, beauty standards, expectations for women, etc. It’s the same subject that I used for the Self Portrait project. It’s also the same technique I’m considering using. It’s between the Self Portrait and HDR. I haven’t made an exact decision yet. But I want to use this subject again because I didn't get to it properly the last time. I had two problems with it. I was having a hard time with getting the programs to work with the Self Portrait project so I didn’t get to edit them. Also I didn’t get to do my subject justice. I mean I did a great job, but I didn’t get to take it as far as I wanted to. It’s also a subject I’m very passionate about. These are not the pictures I’ll be using for the Final Project. These are just an example for what I want to do.

My Panorama, HDR, and Manipulated images. I’d say my most successful is my panoramic images. I tried to make myself look darker than my dog on the couch and I think I got it. And as for my very last image, I tried making the trees contrast as much as I can without looking like me. Or making myself look... well bad. I did a lot of editing for all of them and this was the best I could get. And I’m happy with the results.

Here is my HDR Pic of my opened front door. I thought I could get some nice lights from the open door, and some nice darks from behind the door. I tried editing it and I got it to a place that I like.

These are my Panoramic images. There both from the outside.

Chris McCaw goes to places with a horizon to take pictures. But they are not normal pictures. He uses the camera lens like a magnifying glass and burns the sun’s movements into a piece of vintage photographic black and white paper. Depending on where the picture is being taken the line is either straight or curved. These pictures can take hours to create. To quote him “a lot of times I’m in the same spot from sunrise to sunset”. According to him If you go to the location of the picture you can figure out when it was taken based off of the sun’s movements. Before the invention of the clock people used to use the sun and a sun dial to tell what the time was. Basically he is taking a picture of time. I  think this is a very long process, but the results are worth it. The beauty of the pictures is undeniable. 

This is my second portfolio. It’s in order 2 Environmental, 1 Silhouette, 1 Continuous Light, and 2 Self Portraits with another 2 Self Portraits for my additional pictures. I had problems with Lightroom so there was no time to edit. But my Self Portraits are a quick sum up of everything a woman does to herself because of society's judgement of a womens’s appearance.

This is my first photo portfolio except for one picture. For some reason it’s not working. I’m missing my Haunted Redo of the stairs.

These are my edited body images. Each image is edited differently in some way. Black and white, exposures and more, and white balance.

These are my haunted images. The original two pictures with them being edited twice. One edit is to make them look even more haunted. And another edit for their color.
