I stopped procrastinating and finally submitted this painting. It's been sitting on a table just in case our cats and dog would pee on it.

In case you missed my crash-outs a few months ago, this is my entry to the shell nsac for this year. I don't know if I'll make it to the top 20, but at least I tried. I finished this in about 2 weeks, and for my first competition, I'm pretty proud of it.

I was not able to save a copy of the brief description when I submitted this, but basically, I dedicated my painting to my grandmothers who died during the pandemic. Even though I've noticed how I'm slowly forgetting their voices, I will always cherish how supportive they have been of my passion for art. I hope I make them proud.

Time for some lore ig, it was part of the requirement to take our own pictures for references (obv) when I was taking the picture, I got electrocuted because there was no electric tape on the other end of the light (-1000 stars, would not recommend). If it wasn't obvious, I chose an urn because they were cremated. This is my attempt at being humorous for a really sad time. Also, the close-up was really yellow because the light I was using was warm. I didn't realize it would be different in normal lighting. Lastly, I haven't seen the skirt I wore in the reference since I took the picture, a moment of silence pls AHSGSHAH

Posting this right before our class critique because I actually love this plate:]]

really hoping I did this right since the plate assigned was an animatic storyboard, and this feels more like an animatic. The waltz part wasn't originally part, but I realized if I didn't but that it would be a bit short. These are my OCs, which were from last sem. The scene is based on the first verse of ghost of you by 5sos. If u cannot tell the part of the song I used, is somewhere in the middle of the song and not the beginning, I just liked it better that way.

This plate was obv submitted kinda late but im not telling when exactly (dont guess, I don't want to hear it AHAHAHAHA)

posting this for proof of life. I haven't actually done much art that is not school related, except for the embroidery, which I chose to work on for days because my animatic plate was causing me too much stress. I am now paying for it by getting deductions on said plate in the foreseeable future

1st: heart embroidery on a white jacket, finishe before going to up fair

2nd: plate that was only approved last minute because I was being so indecisive. It turned out ok

3rd: short rant plus sketch with sparkly blue ink, yay for glitter

4th: chalk art while working on the mural that extended our deadline for the animatic, it did not save me from being late

5th: study that was rejected

6th: characters for animatic (supposedly)

7th: random sky pic

My silk screen printing plate for one of my classes. It's not as bad as I thought it would be, but I probably won't do it again (not in the near future, at least). The design on the second pic was not supposed to be there. I was just checking if the white paint I had would cover up the stains or match the color of the denim. Nope ://
