found out a moot was actually 16 and that they lied to me when they said they were 18 to join my taglist, which is why i was under the assumption that they were 18. their blog also says 18+ but they are a MINOR. some of you know who this is, and that they wrote for one of my aus without asking me first ( which we did clear up privately ), but i have since put a boundary up against them doing that after finding this out.

they also made a post about it, but did not come clean that they were a minor. but to those who know, this is me telling you.

minors please DO NOT lie about your age to be in adult spaces. you may think you’re ‘mature enough’ but you are not. and we are not your friends. you are in a completely different life stage than us, and are causing harm to both yourself and the adults whose boundaries you are breaking.

“come on sweetheart, I don’t have time for this.” you were sitting on the floor as he tied his boots back up, trying to convince him to stay. surely his partner was more important than some business with his friends.

“but you just got here, si. can’t they wait until tomorrow?” technically he’d been there since the night before, but it wasn’t enough. the burning in the back of your throat was just beginning to catch up with the tears pooling in your eyes, bringing your head down to hide from him while you wrapped your arms around his leg.

“christ, don’t start. I’ll be back before you know it, get up.”

he lifted your head so you were looking back up at him, running his thumb over your cheek where the tears were starting to fall. the puppy eyes and pouting didn’t work on him often anymore but it did make him ease up, reminded him that you were softer than him, that what you really needed was a little guidance. he sighed as he leaned back onto the couch, still comforting you with a gentle hand as he contemplated the current importance of his bandmates.

“simon please- don’t leave yet. just let me come with you at least, come on. ill stay in the car, i just want to be with you-“ you’d worked yourself up so much over the thought of him leaving it was hard to actually get the words out, keeping his hand glued to your face like you needed it to survive.

“woah, hey. you need me here that bad, i’ll stay, fuck ‘em. just stop cryin’ and get up here already, would you? breaking my fuckin’ heart down there.”
