• Skull Abnormalities

Although Gyutaro didn't seem to have any of those, I think everything is worth mentioning. What if someone out there wants to add more to his human design👀

Skull irregularities that occur due to bone and cartilage damage during development and linked to Late (and Early) Congenital Syphilis include:

- Saddle nose

- Frontal bossing

- Short maxilla

- Protruding mandible

- High-arched palate

- Hard palate perforation

I kinda can picture an situation were one client Gyutaro is tormenting goes like "heh... you're not that scary." in hopes to have any affect on him or something like that. And all Gyutaro does is open his mouth to show (off) a big hole passing through his palate, probably with a nasty infection. How edgy I love it

• Skeletal and Muscle Abnormalities

• Saber Shins; a bone malformation characterized by the anterior (foward) bowing of the tibia, resembling the blade of a saber.

Not really? It doesn't like the case to me, but maybe I'm just not looking hard enough.

• Clutton's Joints; a form of painless, symmetrical, (asymmetric too, but it happens very rarely) fluid accumulation (hydrarthrosis) within the knee joints. While commonly associated with the knee, the joint swelling can also affect the ankles, elbows, wrists, and fingers.

• Periosteal reaction; formation of a new bone by the periosteum (membrane that covers the bone) in response to aggressions such as trauma, infections, tumors, or inflammation. Which, in case of acute trauma or infection, it can cause edema (swelling caused by an abnormal accumulation of fluid in body tissues), pain, heat, and sometimes hematoma, due to subperiosteal bleeding.

Is not that I want to dismiss the manga- but taking for granted the funky ass art style doesn't seem like the best idea💔

• Higoumenakis sign; unilateral enlargement and thickening of the sternal (medial) end of the clavicle, linked to the person's handiness side.

His collarbones looks very visibly symmetrical despite the protrusion. It'd probably be too difficult to tell because of the extreme malnutrition, his skin is too tight to notice much of swellings I think.

• Periostitis; inflammation of the periosteum, a dense layer of connective tissue that wraps around bones. Often caused by repetitive, high-impact stress on bones (common in runners/athletes) or infections.

- Symptoms; intense, aching pain on the bone, tenderness, swelling, and sometimes difficulty putting weight on the limb.

• Hutchinson Triad

the most common symptoms of late congenital syphilis (manifests itself after the child is two years old).

• Hutchinson's teeth; small, peg-shaped, or conical permanent teeth, particularly the upper central incisors, which often have a deep, crescent-like notch on the biting edge.

Easy one, checks out. Look at those imperfect and weirdly white marbles!

Also, an addendum to the teeth section;

• Mulberry Molars; a rare dental malformation of the first permanent molars, characterized by multiple small, rounded cusps on the occlusal surface, resembling a mulberry. It's often associated with the Hutchinson's teeth.

• Interstitial Keratitis; A chronic, non-ulcerative inflammation of the corneal stroma (the middle layer) characterized by blood vessel infiltration and visual impairment.

Symptoms:

- Redness and severe pain.

- Severe sensitivity to light (photophobia).

- Significant reduction in visual acuity or blurred vision.

This one is a bit funny to me since, I analyzed every frame from the anime and each panel of the manga, and so I came to such a conclusion I started giggling for no reason😭😭 just follow my lead please-

You see these?

His famous visible veins on his sclera? That's a frame of him as a kid, and if you ask me, those look pretty damn red, MAYBE just like a inflammation.

BUT THE THING IS

They got better, Gyutaro grew older and they didn't look nearly as red as before. And you know what they look like now???

GHOST VESSELS!!!!

Ghost vessels are old, empty blood vessels remaining in the cornea after inflammation passes. That heavily implies brittle-bones kid Gyutaro deadass magically overcame the inflammation with no meds, no nothing, just rawdogging shit💯💯💯

• Sensorineural Hearing Loss; a permanent type of hearing impairment caused by damage to the inner ear's hair cells or auditory nerves (can occur both bilaterally and unilaterally). Although SNHL is part of the Hutchinson's triad, it has between 10% to 38% chance of appearing, being considered the least frequent symptom.

Symptoms:

- Sounds are muffled or quiet, particularly high-pitched voices.

- Difficulty following conversations, especially in noisy backgrounds.

- Ringing in the ears (tinnitus).

- Dizziness or balance issues.
