It was surprisingly hard to find them, Google wouldn't show them despite searching for the coloured edition so I had to search on ecosia, where I found them (except for the third one, which is from a cover). Also had to saturate them a tiny bit since in the website where I found them there was this sort of shadow when you clicked on them.

Stuff I've thought abt Willy/his "backstory"? maybe "headcanons that popped up in my head and that I accepted" would be more fitting. Quite "rushed"

Willy was born in the early 1900s, in a well off British family. When he was a teen his parents put him in one of those all-girls schools (as they were quite rich), but ofc his dreams were others- already from a young age- and so during lessons he would sneak out in a hideaway he found. There he would begin more "normal" sweets he would sell but, as time passed, he would begin experimenting more.

When he got caught, his parents tried to send him to a stricter boarding school but, having already put some money aside, he ran away to another country (probably France) where he changed his identity, name and gender after realizing. From there, without having to hide as he did in school, he started putting up a small business selling candy while he traveled to numerous, even remote places in exchange of gigs, searching for new tastes to add to his creations.

In his late 20s, he went back to the UK, and, without nobody knowing who he was, he managed to open a candy shop in a small city. His business quickly grew as more and more people noticed how good his sweets were, starting to be more known first in Europe, then worldwide. After rising to fame, he opened his factory, and employed many, many people from the small city, becoming a pillar in its economy. While he was beloved by those citiziens, he started to become a sort of a living myth, as nobody knew who he was before arriving there, with no information relating to his birthplace or his surname, as he chose that too.

As he, after about a decade of it, closed his factory after the whole "incident" with the spies (only to go back in business after the trip to Loompaland) the myth grew, and by the time the announcement of the Golden Ticket contest came, nobody could remember much about how he was, except for a older few.
