yeah my last draft is from april 15 of 2025 btw im here because i got a divine message to return to tumblr on the great friday the 13th. that's my bad luck for you

sometimes when you're drawing you have to put a bunch of bullshit on the page and then come back to it a week later and say "wtf am i looking at" and redraw whatever it was meant to be and it comes out either great or like Top Tier Bullshit instead

I flew a kite for the first time probably over a decade when I was out hanging with friends over a week ago. I don't know how to explain it, but it brought so much unbridled joy to me. There wasn't a lot of wind so she only flew with the slight breezes that we'd get on occasion, but when she did fly, I remembered being young and worry free. That's what I want more of, I think.

I understand reading excellent fanfictions, but have you ever read one so bad that you gotta be like "fuck. i could do better than that" and then put your whole badonkadonk into a passionately written fanfic that by the end of it you're either like "wow I can't believe I wrote that, this is awesome" or, alternatively, "wow I can't believe I wrote that, this is ass" but at least you wanted to do it and therefore got better from it. it tricks you into writing like dance dance revolution tricks you into exercising
