Ranking my ocs in order of how nice they are to hug
Hunter is actually a pretty cool guy
But he despises physical contact unless it’s to strangle his enemies
So most likely you would not be getting a hug from him
But in the super unlikely chance that you do manage to hug him
He wouldn’t reciprocate and instead would just stand there stiff as a board with his hands at his sides until you let go
Next up is an unnamed oc that I wanted to add anyway
He’s the definition of gifted kid burnout
Having to be a perfect student and son his entire life and being forced to be a social butterfly
That drains your capacity for social interaction
If you do get a hug from him he’ll most likely just give you a side hug
It’s lower on the list because he won’t put much enthusiasm into it just putting his arm over your shoulder and giving a few awkward pats
Ollie is a giant ball of anxiety and he’s extremely shy
So you’d probably have to initiate it
He wouldn’t be that bad to hug
He’d be a bit stiff but he’d definitely give you a solid hug as best as he can
So about a 7/10 for the effort
This man has no problems hugging someone
As long as you ask first he’d probably be fine with it
He’d give you a warm hug for as long as you want
But reason he’s second place is because this man will probably fall asleep on you mid hug and make it extremely awkward
It’s not his fault his power makes him perpetually exhausted
And he’s a heavy sleeper so good luck waking him up
So about an 9/10 point off for making the situation awkward
But if your into the whole sleepy boy thing disregard the negative
And finally in first place is:
So on first glance he is extremely unapproachable
But if you manage to get close enough to him to consider you a friend
It is as easy as simply asking him for a hug
And him being extremely socially inept you would think his hugs would suck and be like Hunter
Except he has an extremely supportive family who gives plenty of hugs
So he uses his limited knowledge of physical contact that his parents have given him and channels it into his own hugs
With him you also don’t have to explain what the reason for the hug is he’s just content with knowing he’s helping a friend in need
He holds you firmly to his chest softly rubbing circles on your back for as long as you need him to
His hugs are tight but not bone crushing
And his muscles provide extra cushiness and comfort
And he is naturally very warm
So overall in my 100% unbiased opinion
10/10 I would kill for a hug from this man
