People in the U.S., U.K., Brazil, and Singapore can now share videos and chat with friends directly within the YouTube app. The update bring
This post talks about a new DM feature in youtube. What it fails to mention is that as part of this new feature is that when you send someone a link to a video, and they open it in the youtube app, they will see who sent them the link. Specifically, your channel name.
If your google account name is your real name, so is your channel name by default.
This means the new default behavior is that everyone you send a youtube link to will see your full name if they open it in the mobile app.
To turn this off:
Go to your youtube app settings
Go to Privacy
Turn off "Channel visibility for shared links"
Trimming the source id (the stuff after the '?' in links) will also prevent this from happening.

Hey so I just kinda learned guitar (?) Can u recommend some will wood songs to begin learning his songs? Ik they're all really difficult but stillllllll I wanna play his songssssss
oh hello! Yes! They're not all really difficult, but some of the chord changes can be weird. Here's a decent range of easier ones!! These aren't organized btw just pick and choose cuz I'm thinking of them on the fly:
1. Self-/-Ish (yes, even though it's for keys)
- if you sing, this combo can be really good. It's like 4 chords, and on the step-down bits at the end of the chorus, just play a barred Am chord and scooch your hand over!
2. 2econd 2ight 2eer
- once again, the chords are really simple, just alternate between major and minor and try to make the strums "rhyme"
3. Chemical Overreaction
- could say the same for here. Search up some Latin-music strumming patterns or listen to the song really closely, for that's what makes the whole guitar part
4. That's Enough, Let's Get You Home
- this one actually requires fingerstyle, but it's not hard. I'll make a tutorial if you want
5. Cotard's Solution
- capo 3 or do barre chords! this one actually isn't difficult!!
7. Laplace's Angel
- easy bc it's just an A minor progression
8. And If I Did, You Deserved It
- this one has about 4 chords, is in C, and relatively slow
9. Well, Better Than The Alternative
- pop song chords. Once you get this one, I/Me/Myself and Marsha, Thankk You (etc) gets easier
10. Cicada Days
- slow and rythmic, once again singing helps
11. When Somebody Needs You
- G major chords, most of them are open except B
12. Aikido (neurotic/erotic)
- very simple G major progression
13. White Noise
- C major, put some oomph into it and strum slowly to get that nice glissando
14. Um, it's kind of a lot
- the pre-choruses are a litttttle difficult, but tomcat disposables is harder. This is like practice
DIFFICULTY IS A STATE OF MIND!! I will tell you though that his songs are generally monophonic, meaning that the melody does its thing while chords support it (for the most part). If you learn these, I'd recommend singing them as well, or playing kazoo along with it, or something. It's what makes them actually sound like will wood songs.
Ultimate Guitar is helpful because it has lyrics, but a lot of the songs are user-submitted and may be incorrect sometimes.
