October sure is a busy month for writers and readers alike, isn't it? With so many prompt events happening concurrently, there's never any shortage of new and wonderful works to create and enjoy.

It also presents a problem: Due to the oversaturation of works in the same general themes, some wonderful writing can slip through the cracks. These hidden gems often get few to no comments or reblogs, especially if they aren't picked up by the event archives.

That's where Commvember comes in! During the month of November, this blog will promote both fan works and original fiction written as fills for various promptober events that are lacking in the love they deserve.

What works fit this criteria:

Any written work* that was created as a promptober event fill which has fewer than 3 comment THREADS on AO3 and/or fewer than 10 Tumblr reblogs at the time of submission fits the criteria. (*Some exclusions apply, keep reading)

How do I submit works?

Submission guidelines TBA when it comes closer to time to officially launch the event. There will also be an A03 collection that will open on November 1st.

Are there any types of works I can't submit?

No fan works of any IP owned by Joanne Rowling, Neil Gaiman, or Scott Cawthon will be promoted on this blog or included in the AO3 collection. This is non-negotiable. If you are in such a fandom, feel free to use this blog's format to host your own comment drive in your fandom. In addition, no works known to be AI-generated in full or in part will be promoted or collected. Other than that, anything goes! Any trope, ship, kink, etc is allowed as long as it's properly tagged. Yes, even that one. Those, too. If it's not AI or one of the banned fandoms, it's allowed.
