Spilled Ink

It's still Wednesday in my timezone, don't @ me. I finally got the latest chapter of Death Is a Delightful Hiding Place up, and you guys have been lovely with your responses and encouragement. I don't usually have that much trouble with WIP's because I usually have most of the story planned out, but this one has been going off the rails since about chapter 3. Anyway, here is a preview for the next chapter. I decided if we're going to have a chapter about Guy attempting to acclimate to a much more "normal" life, let's see how Jasper does.

In his many years on Earth, Jasper had been woken up in several different ways, but this was by far one of the strangest. For the entire time the sun pulled him under, it was like he was on the edge of dreaming and being awake, but he just couldn't quite get there. Once he woke up, Jasper panicked because something wasn't right. He was in their shared closet, buried under clothing, and he could smell Guy's blood in the air. He knew he had nearly broken the door when he got outside, but that seemed like the best reaction to what was going on.

Hey everyone, I'm so sorry it took so long for this to come out. The summer is usually a rough time for me, and this story going so far off my outline and me not writing a new one really threw me off. I really need to sit down and map out the rest of this story, but here is ~4900 words of Guy and Jasper shenanigans that we normal human beings would have to deal with. There is some homophobic language in this one directed at Guy, and I added that to the tags. I really hope the next one doesn't take me so long, and I'm also so sorry I didn't reply to all your kind comments in the last chapter. I will try to do that today because this fic wouldn't exist without all of you. Hopefully, it's not clunky or awkward as hell.

Guy could protect Jasper from many things, but he couldn't protect him from the sun, so four hours before sunset, he got the attention of all three agents and ran.

Guy and Jasper had a bit of a rough start after they freed Jasper from the Talamasca, but now they've set their sights on Guy, and it turns out that attempting to run and hide from an organization whose motto is "We watch. And we're always there" isn't easy.
