1 year and 3 months post op

1 week post op! Still pretty swollen

Got fired, dropped out of college, went to culinary school, hit two years on T, am graduating in a week, getting top surgery in two weeks and am starting a new job at a sick vegan bakery after I recover from top

Did my first T shot yesterday, i thought I would hesitate doing a self injection but I was fine. The only bit that hurt was removing the band-aid later that day. I was on gel for about 10.5 months but then had some issues w my insurance so switched to subq shots after being off of T completely for a month. Next week I do my shot in front of the nurses one more time and hopefully get cleared to do my own at home.

While I might not look different immediately, I feel different. I have happy trail, my legs, thighs, and ass are incredibly hairy, my voice is a lil deeper, and Ive got an adams apple and some whispy boys growing on my face and on my hands which is pretty amazing considering how hairless I was. Hrt isn’t the be all end all of someone’s transition, but to me personally it’s brought me a sense of peace that I’ve never had but always needed. I’m still dysphoric and some days are worse than others but I’m better now than I was before and for once I’m hopeful for my future.

Ive had it for less than a week and I'm already in love. The pictures on the site don't do it justice and it packs so perfect mannnnn, like I was skeptical about the transthetics hype but like so far it's totally living up to it

I feel like I don't pass much, but I don't really get misgendered by strangers anymore, so maybe I'm just being hard on myself. My voice is finally dropping which is nice.

I actually walked into the men’s bathroom. Unfortunately it was so disgusting that I couldn't pee. But it’s a step in the right direction
