Damalion: Dual Winds is OFFICIALLY the first Damalion story I'm actually working on to produce.

Dual Winds is a shorter story about two of Damalion's Winds: Kitap and Tesyu (I'll add some pictures), and the origins of Essish Kein (an important city/garden in Pisha's story on Damalion.)

Whole story is plotted so far, and script for the first Kernel (Chapter/Episode/Scene thing) is done. I need to finalize Tesyu's design (Kitap's is completely done) and make the models for both.

I think I intend it to be kind of like a play/opera/ballet, so I want there to be physical puppets on a stage. They'll be made out of paper (mostly) like some of my other stuff. (At least as of right now.)

The goal is to COMPLETLY finish at least the first Carpel (Collection of Kernels, Act/Book) by the time Summer ends.

Here are some pictures of Tesyu's Test Design and the test model's head. The white paper is the eye which can shift in its "socket."

Kitap's design will be added here inna bit, I have good drawings, I just gotta take photos of them.

I'll find a good "gibberish" name for the name, but for now that's my update on Damalion: Dual Winds.

P.S.!!!!! Here is a bonus completly unrelated drawing I started a bit ago

I meant to add this near late December, but kept forgetting lmao. Here's a character page for Kerelesh from Damalion.

Kerelesh lives in a pretty cold, rocky place, so the garb is for protection from the cold. The feet stilt things were initially to combat snow, but I think there's not actually snow where Kerelesh lives, so it's a bit counterintuitive. I do really like em though

Right now I KNOW I said I should work on Damalion but I have a much smaller project within Damalion that I think I should try to finish first. Just cause I uh, don't really have anything done done. The biggest hurdle right now though is trying to figure out the medium I want it in. While animated series n stuff would be cool, I wouldn't get to work with my hands. And while a book/comic or something would be cool, I couldn't include audio. I'm just trying to find some good middle ground of mediums to make it in. One I find it I SWEAR I'll start actually making stuff, but till then I'm just a bit stuck.

We'll see how it goes

Finally adding pics of stuff:

Damalion Volume 2: Heletume Neset is complete (The cover at least)

All the names of the volumes aren't all just gibberish, but I think they'll have multiple English Translations. Heletume Neset is:

- Nascent Foal/Lamb (Could be either, though I like foal a bit more)

- Cygnet's Bloom

- Cygnetrose (Might get spelled differently, Cygnerose?)

- Cygnetwhorl/Cygnewhorl?

(Or something similar to those if I think of anything else.) Initially, I did want it to be Heletume Nesset, but just Neset fit better on the poster.......In case you're wondering, of course you are, the poster for Damalion Volume 1: Bihelya Kirane means First/Initial Spark. I might change whatever word I use for first/initial, but something along those lines.

I intend to make prints of these to act as posters so be on the look out.

Hmmmmmmm yeah that's all (Kerelesh's design isn't done yet and I've been working on this so long I have to remember how to actually draw)

First arc of Damalion is done!!! Next step is figuring out the design of next two characters: Kerelesh and Okoe.

The poster for Volume 2 is still a work in progress (mainly cause I'm trying to figure out a better name) but it *is* almost done.

I think I might need a test reader for the plot just to double check I haven't missed/made any major plot holes, but I'll find one soon. (Or not at all....I'm probably smart enough to not need em yeahhh)

After Okoe and Kerelesh are figured out, I can start working on the first renditions of Volume 1 to be released. Yooooooo

Been kinda busy lately so haven't had too much to show, but I wanna show progress on the poster so I'll just show ya that.

The small weird bad eye will be removed (you know which one I'm talking about.) Flower eye is the newest and is FANTASTIC. I think I want to do another one with real small pieces like the first eye (rings.)

You can see it peaking from the top, but there's three eyes that got retired (maybe will be readded on second ring of eyes idk.)

Dunno much else.

The Damalion: Bihelya Kirane poster has been SUBMITTED for a ART COMPETITION, so I made some adjustments (lies, these adjustments were made like a week after I posted it last time.)

It's much better without Pisha written in white I think.

Well here's an update on allll my art stuff.

Here's some drawing of Pisha from (newly named) DAMALION.

I think I said earlier, but Pisha is (to put it short) kinda like a clone of Heltegrose for the most part (except for the rings on their skin.) They breathe fire.

I've been working on also some portfolio stuff for DAMALION (all caps duh) and so have been working on a mover poster/comic cover type thing.

Here's the mockup of it, but the real one (still work in progress) looks like this so far:

Ohhh it's sooo goood.

This is also only the small version, I think I'll make a faaar bigger one. This is also the first of many.

The mouth and sun thing is meant to indirectly be the sparking of the fire in the mouths of the firebreathers (Pisha, Heltegrose, Phissebere etc.)

Hohohohhhhooooooo maybe I'm tootin' my own horn a lil, but how COOL IS THIS??? Here is Ferr. I think I don't like the name but it's not terrible. From same thing as Doelsa (guy from earlierrr.)

I've been kinda just calling what they are Winds cause I read ye ol Epic of Gilgamesh and I liked how they listed a bunch of winds kinda as characters (I don't know how to explain it just go read it it's not even that long.) I guess to explain Ferr and Doelsa and whatnot's deal I have to expositionize you dear reader.

BASICALLY: (this is gonna take a bit)

Takes place in a flat, barren, place with only dirt and that's it. Except for Nature (thing of eyes from earlier.) Nature is the name of the only 'thing' there (I'd call it a god because in terms of Nature's role it's kinda comparable, but I think doing so is a disservice, so I wont.) Theyre the only source of water (cause they have EYES that produce WATER.) They mix the teaaars with the dry dirt to make clay and so make life. They make a bunch of animals and plants and whatever (and for the sake of my sanity (reason to be revealed later) Nature pretty much just made the same flora and fauna we have here on earth with like maybe some variation.) Anyway

Among Nature's creation are people. I need to figure out why, but eventually Nature ends up getting sick and dying. Before they die, they get a group of humans and give each one of their eyes (quite a lot of people then,) and tells them to take a few (1-2) animals and a few (1-2 ish) plants and some number of humans with them and disperse away from Nature's 'Garden' and make their own gardens (zones for life.)

So a ton of Gardens are made away from Nature's.

However, Nature (for a reason I definitely have thought of yet) also creates the Winds. A sort of animal sort of person sort of thing that brings a type of wind with them as they travel, wandering the barrens between the settled gardens. There's quite a few, probably 19. I think that it's kind of cyclical where each Wind chases another one of the winds (in order to keep them moving around the plane so they don't just stay in one spot.) So, Ferr (and Doelsa) are these.
