I’m reblogging this because this comment bugs the shit out of me. Just because someone has a preference for one thing over another does not make them immature. We all have our likes and dislikes. I’m sure this woman has her own biases as well.

NOPE! Guess what, @bikeuriousnerd, this post wasn’t about ~preferences~ how fucking stupid do you think I am? I know that everyone has preferences! Because we are human. We like what we like. Personal preferences have literally nothing to do with this post. Being a female and showing off body hair may ward off people who don’t prefer it, but guess what??? YOU CAN HAVE A PERSONAL PREFERENCE AND NOT PUSH THAT ONTO OTHER PEOPLE. You completely missed the point of this post. I’m talking about boys who say to me, “You would be hot if you shaved,” or “I would fuck you if you shaved.” *that is not personal preference.* that is BODY SHAMING. That is FORCING AND PUSHING your beliefs and your ~preferences~ onto another human being and I literally could not care less what your preferences are, that shit is not okay. Not to mention all the people who tell me that I must have HORRIBLE body odor because I don’t shave, that it is unsanitary, etc. I am not speaking about personal preferences. This is biased. Body hair is only unsanitary if it is on a female. Yup. Makes sense.
