This was a conscious choice by its creators, among them Wendy Curry. To quote Wendy:

“C[elebrate] B[isexuality] D[ay] was meant to be an inward act. Getting our community together to celebrate who were we and how privileged we were to be who we are. We picked the name for a reason. Screw what anyone else thinks. We rock! We are fabulous!”

I love to read because it’s more than just a hobby, it’s my escape, my comfort, and my way of exploring the world without ever leaving my room. Every time I open a book, I feel like I’m diving into a new adventure, meeting characters who feel like friends, and experiencing emotions that make me feel so alive. Reading gives me this quiet kind of joy that nothing else does, and it always manages to teach me something, even in the most unexpected ways.
