A digital camera or camcorder, so you can still capture moments without getting distracted by your phone

Comfort items like a fidget, paci, or something like that because even big kids have comfort items

A plushie that’s small enough to fit inside the bag

Yummy snacks like chips or gummies just in case you get hungry

A cool water bottle filled with your favorite drink so you can stay hydrated

Age appropriate makeup (if you wear any)

A sketchbook, notebook, or activity book, and some crayons or pencils to keep you occupied

A small, easy to read chapter book if you’re going on a longer trip

Cute keychains and pin buttons to personalize it and show off your awesome style

Lastly, important stuff like your medicine, wallet, glasses, or emergency supplies

I don’t see a lot of people bring up the term “middle age” or “middlespace” very often and I just wanted to say that anyone who experiences middlespace is completely valid as a regressor.

Middlespace for me is between the ages of 10-15. I regress to middlespace because I have had to quickly grow up and be an adult and haven’t been able to live as a teenager.

At the age of 18, I have a job and almost no contact with my family. For me, middlespace is a way I can experience having a safe teenage existence without the trauma that I endured.

So to everyone that experiences middlespace, I see you, I understand you and you are still valid as a regressor, no matter what anyone says.

Can be done with a friend, with plushies, or totally solo!

Blast some nostalgic music and have a dance party

Wear your cutest and comfiest pajamas

Watch a big kid/tween movie

Make s’mores on the stove or in the microwave (be careful! They’re hot! You might need supervision)

Eat pizza, mac and cheese, or another nostalgic food for dinner

Do face masks, paint your nails fun colors, or have a makeover session

Decorate cookies or cupcakes and eat them

Build a blanket fort and hide out in it

Play video games (I like Minecraft a lot)

Do a craft while sitting on the floor, like making bracelets or collages

Set up your plushies so that they’re doing the activities with you. Make sure you tuck them in before bed!

Painting your nails with Sparkly nail polish 💅

Blanket robes while chilling on the couch playing video games 🎮

Trying out different makeup/styles 💄

Dancing to the music in the department store 🎶

Turning the contents of your closet into a fashion show (bonus points if you make up a theme!) 💃🕺

Listening to the rain from the window with a fun drink ☔️

Sitting on the carpet doing a craft ✂️🖍
