“i think i’m ready to start working on solo work,” sookie admitted, scrubbing her face in her hands. she’d had a solo debut in rejectz’s early days, but nothing for about three years since. “i’ve put so much of my focus into my group, and i think i’ve gotten us to a really good place. is it selfish of me to want to start working on something for myself now?”

“you’ve written for like...everything your group has done. i’d say you’re basically the reason rejectz is a success,” dongeun said with a little shrug. “if someone gets mad at you for trying something solo, they’re fucking stupid.”

“aren’t you ever like…worried?” inho asked genuinely. “you have so many fans who’ve known you since you were a baby. isn’t it going to be weird having them at fanmeets? won’t that limit the concepts you can do without them being weird about it too?” @rvdongeun​

“i don’t know. i haven’t been on the show in years at this point,” dongeun said with a shrug. “people are definitely going to be weird about it, but everyone gets weird fans, right? and we’re going to have good security. plus, it’s not like i’m still a baby. i think i can do whatever concepts i want to.”

“i always knew you five would move out someday, but i didn’t realize it would happen so soon,” jinkyung said with a somber little sigh, taping up a cardboard box and passing it to her son. “the fact that you have a dorm now, though, must be a good sign? it’s been a while since trinity debuted– am i going to be seeing you in a new higher boy group soon?” @rvdaeseok​

he took the box, going to stack it with the other fully-packed ones with a little shrug. “i mean, it’s not a bad sign, but half the guys are still on idol project. it’s not that soon,” he answered his mother. “it’s soon, though.”
