Personal Head canon: Cyprus had his own destiny decided ever since he was created and still he has no control over his life. He knows this but despite this he is very determined to climb the ranks as he enjoys the authority that comes with it. He has little contact with his parents outside of work, they do not really consider themselves family. His creation was made purely to influence the type of soldiers the First Order wanted.
