Me: traffic
Daughter: no, hahaha thats no lights and cars
Me: .....okay thats fair
In the car and my son says: so what are we gonna talk about?
Me: uh, what were you watching on your ipad when I picked you up?
Son: (says words I don't understand)

My brain:
1. remembers taking my car to the mechanic and meeting Bob who's not a mechanic but the dude who just hangs out there all the time
2. Remembered the dudes who would go to the pool haul with their buddy but they'd never play, they'd just drink and talk and watch
3. Remembers the many hours of quality chats while watching my sister do dishes or cleaning the kitchen.
4. Remembers sister in law who always sits and watches my brother when he does work around the house - the only difference between her and everyone else is she gets him beer or water- which ever is appropriate.
5. Brain Conclusion... Humans are so human

I'm fascinated by the reality that it's okay to aggressively be-friend someone, but its not okay to aggressively date someone.

Well, I wish ipads had a base like that too because my kids inherited personality traits from my siblings instead of me.
