Except that it actually was classist most of the time. Why do you think they were constantly called stupid. Do you think Liam was compared to a neanderthal because he genuinely is stupid? Or dare I say it might be because he's Irish with a thick accent. Do you think that when criticizing Noel's lyricism by saying he can't be profound, that is somehow not classist? Because he can be profound, and quite often, it's just that people don't bother to read into his lyrics because they're too simple. (And for other reasons but let's just ignore that bit for now lol)

And that is not me trying to undercut every criticism on how simple Noel's music can (emphasis on can) be. Again, I've even made jokes about this before. And this is also not me trying to undercut any frustrations had with the brothers themselves. Like yes not everyyyyy single criticism can be boiled down to "oh you're just being classist", do not be mistaken they have said veryyyy dumb things I'm not going to defend but let's also not act like a majority of the criticism for oasis early on didn't come from a very classist mindset.

the thing about the loch lomond footage is that it used to be online. that's what drives me crazy

back when the gig happened, the company amx digital webcasted it on the internet. ignition made a whole site about it. there was an image gallery on it and it's where this comes from:

and there was a video gallery, with three clips:

first was called crowd.mov and the name speaks for itself, second football.mov and it showed liam kicking a giant football on stage, and the third was called... strange.mov. the thumbnail shows liam with his arms spread, from reports of the gig this likely happened at the beginning which is also when the kiss happened. there's a good chance that third one was a clip of the kiss. unfortunately the links on wayback machine site are all broken, so we can't watch these clips. but there's a chance somebody put them on their geocity or whatever page. maybe those clips are still on the internet, waiting for someone to unearth them...
