⤷ ゛I would actually even argue that if you say men and women can’t be platonic friends, you’re a huge red flag. Because wdym you can’t be friends with the opposite gender without catching feelings?? I know sometimes my boys would trade me for a pack of cigs and two beers, but I also know that they would absolutely come running in the middle of the night if there was an emergency, I would do the same for them. And all that without any feelings involved! It’s so so important to be friends with the opposite gender, you learn so much from one another and I’m devastated that it’s not “normal” to have lots of friends of the other gender. I’d even say more than half of my friends are male, because it happens! All that matters is that you feel safe and cozy with who you are bonding, doesn’t matter the gender. Love my guys to bits! ˎˊ˗
