Weigh in results (last week)
So I totally wrote a postĀ about but itās totally not here??
Anyway I lost 2.6 lbs!
I started week 2 of couch to 5k, and I am feeling really great. It eases you into running without feeling overwhelmed.
Day 2
Instead of just going at this whole running thing by luck I decided to follow couch to 5k. So today was my first day, it was a 30 min walk/ run. 5 mins warm up then 1 min run 90 sec walk for 20 mins then 5 min cool down. It felt good to be running and it feels good to be focused. Also 5 days of a blue dot on weight watchers which means I stayed in my target points on all those days. First weigh in is tomorrow! Post to follow.....
Engaged!!
Okaay! So before I explain why Iām back- let me just share thatĀ over the holidays I got ENGAGED! Which is partly why I'm back...
Holy crap! There is plenty to talk about with the wedding, but lets focused on the good.
I am overweight, out of shape and (was) unmotivated. Thereās nothing like a wedding to kick your ass in gear!
I joined weight watchers last Monday. I had such great success with it in the past, I figure why not go back to my roots. Then today IĀ started upĀ a gym membership at the jcc, which was my old gym. I walked 1.5 miles on a 3% incline, then ran 1 mile 1 min on 1 min walk. Felt great and is a great first work out.
Iām excited to reach milestones again and canāt wait to update yall on all the fun stuff!

And now itās Monday
So the weekend was pretty packed. I had to work on Saturday, so that occupied the afternoon. However, we got a new couch! and got to relax the rest of the weekend.

Itās safe to say Cole likes the couch....
Then we went out to dinner Saturday at a Mexican place in town and went to the balloon fest. Which basically all of it was pretty uneventful. Sunday though we went swimming at his moms house which was awesomeeee.
When I donāt work out I donāt have much to say here. The bggest thing is I am eating really well. Iām not obsessing and Iām not over eating. Next step is get my booty moving....

So I kept trying on that other blog site, but honestly itās not the same (which Iāve said here a thousand times) so Iām pretty sure I am official a broken record.
I got this great super fantastic amazing job- where I am a nutrition/wellness educator for a huge company where I live. I travel across my state and go into the different places and teach them about new things each month. Itās truly amazing and I am so blessed that I can do this. In addition to that, Iām a remote employee aka I get to be by my computer and on the internet at home, in a coffee shop, at the bakery etc to work. Which again is AMAZING. My hours are flexible and I just have such a great opportunity.Ā
Enough about that- the point of sharing that is itās time to practice what I preach. I talk about healthy living, yet I live a half assed healthy living life. I havenāt exercised consistently in um forever, and I probably eat well 60% of the time. Which is why I havenāt gained weight, nor lost weight in about 3 years. So it is time!!
I have the time to blog again, I have the time to exercise again- SO LETāS DO THIS!!!!!!!
Starting weight: 218.4
Goal weight: 140

Hi Errybody-
My lovely 8 year old laptop finally kicked it so Iāve been not really able to post at all. I hate posting from my phone so I just wonāt do that.Ā
I donāt feel like there is too much to inform yāall about except I totally havenāt done anything from myĀ āplan for November postā. Which is fine... haha I donāt know what my deal is. I am comfortable and uncomfortable all at the same time. I suppose I am afraid of failing really- to touch on this more in another post.Ā
Iām headed out to Massachusetts with my mom in about fifteen minutes and I still havenāt packed. So naturally I popped on here to show yāall what i did with my hair this week. (See above :) )Ā
I am hopeful to have some coffee shop time tomorrow to write and catch up.Ā

Yāall will be very excited to know yesterday i went running with my friend and we ran two miles straight WUDDDDDDUPĀ
Yet I woke up this morning just groaning because I obv hurt ahah
We signed up for the Syracuse Half though. Itās in April right after my birthday! Super excited about that.
The bf and I went to this haunted house last night itās ranked the best one in our area and it was freaking insane. Iād love to know how many calories I burned screaming and pushing our way through that.Ā
I still feel like I need more clarity on what exactly Iām doing nutrition wise and I need to develop an actual running/work out plan too. That will be the plan for today I suppose. Also Ā aĀ ārest of 2015ā³ goals list. Yaaaa digggggggggggggg

So there you have it. The stats are out. Iām going to revamp the whole tumblr page right now too. Changing about me, before & after all that. It just seems necessary.Ā
Hereās the plan though:
Tracking device is an app called Lifesum (those who have used it how do you life it?) Iām logging my food here. It is actually pretty fantastic because it has the calorie count to lose weight, and the % of carbs/fat/protein ratio to use.Ā
Work out plan- running! Well walking and running,..and elliptical... and body weight things. Iām signing up for a half marathon with my friend Meghan. Itās on April 3rd. So that gives me about 3 months to build endurance and then the rest to train before it. Iām going through some more life crisis. I suppose the biggest thing for me right now is that I truly donāt know what the right decision is or what I really want. I have ideas of what I want, but committing seems to be the issue. . .Ā
Series of Snaps/Selfies

Iām mostly using adult coloring books, drinking lots of coffee, and being annoyed its 69 degrees in October when it should be fall weather. Also got to drink Stewarts coffee when I was up north and got to act like my fav girl Kylie Jenner via snap. Boosh.Ā
In other news- does anyone else relate stepping on the scale the same as looking at your bank statements? HmmĀ

Tonight was my first open house for PA school. It was really informative and help gave me a ton of clarity on what I need to focus my energy towards. So thereās that.Ā
In other news, yesterday I worked out (wow) and ran (double wow). 1 mile, 12 minutes and some change. It was painful. I am sore today. Still havenāt weighed myself, and ate 3 oreos tonight and currently drinking a Pumking by Southern Tier. Iām winning at life.Ā

Advice Needed
This is really important- brace yourselves.Ā
I might want to dye my hair. And when I say that, I mean I will come really close to doing it then probably wonāt pull the trigger because Iām afraid. (Transparency people, Iām being transparent with you).
Anyway- I would like to solicit some advice because there is a possibility if many people like the same one Iām thinking then Iāll do it.Ā
Please no making fun of the face, I was more so trying to get lots of hair in the picture.Ā

What Is It About This Place
Guys- I donāt even know what it is. But there is this magically overwhelming feeling of home when I think about writing on tumblr again. I literally PAY FOR a website yet have no desire to post there. Iām not sure what it is about this place but I just constantly want to be back here.Ā

I am in school full time. Taking possibly the worst course load Iāve ever taken in my life. Biology - Chemistry- Anatomy & Physiology. All with labs. Itās glorious. I was feeling really overwhelmed because Iāve been working over nights (11pm-7am) at a long term care facility. It really screws with your sense of time and actual ability to think. So this week I took every shift off to focus on school and see if I can find a new job. Weāll see Iāve applied a few places.
Health wise- wooooof people. Iāll tell ya, I suck at losing weight when I donāt put any effort in HAHAH naturally. I just have been (1) lazy (2) lazy and (3) lazy. Sooooooo0o0o0o0o0o if I fix that one little blip I should be good to go ;-)Ā
Iāll do a weigh in tomorrow, IāveĀ ābeen followingā weight watchers (meaning i have the app downloaded on my phone I just havenāt tracked or followed anything).Ā
I worked out twice in the past three months (#winning) So if I eat less....and move more....I believe Iāll lose weight :)Ā
