Secondly, hi! It's been a while since I've been actively involved with any fandom, I was 16 when I left a fandom and haven't really ventured into it since. However, I signed back up to AO3 in October and have been writing fics in my spare time, especially after the original LITG were removed. I've been lurking a lot, though, I keep forgetting to kudos, and I really need to learn how to comment again.

The Reddit prompt has actually triggered me to sign up here - I know the main community is on Tumblr, at least the good one, as I logged into my very dead account to check it out but I didn't want to start a new account without something to show for it, and I won't start posting my fics until they're finished as they're all multi-chaptered and the idea of posting before is genuinely terrifying.

Story Summary:

Amy and Talia are two teenagers who spend their time hiding their true feelings, only able to show their love in secret meetings. They know that their conservative town would never accept them, not truly, so they do their best to pretend. However, when they get caught kissing at school, they have to decide whether to break up or come out and accept any potential consequences.

I already answered Jess' question about it here, but have a snippet of them as kids.

This one tends to be overwhelming to think about, if I'm being honest.

I think about it as three separate fics, if I'm being honest, since they feel like three separate stories even though you can't just read 1 or 2 unless you like unhappy endings.

It's an AU because all of my fics are, but Emma (MC) moves to Cornwall to start a new life. She meets Henrik by the water (of course), as she finds the waves soothing, and he often goes to watch the sun set or rise. They are instantly interested in each other, and Henrik drags her out of her shell, inviting her on spontaneous hiking trips and encouraging her to do stuff she'd never dare to do. However, they're very different people – she likes safety and likes to know what's coming next in life, and Henrik isn't really ready to settle in one place. He wants to explore the world, and that scares the crap out of Emma.
