The thing about the dead is that some of them come and visit because they miss you. Some come because they need to tell you something that you need to hear.

I’m starting to watch True Detective Night Country and I keep misnaming it The Terror Night Country because it has huge The Terror vibes ™️

Hear me out:

- both lead detectives are awesome but sorta hate each other

- everything is dark and cold and gloomy

- nature is not your friend here

- the plot involves a native woman getting her tongue cut ummmmm

- ominous white bear presence

- frozen heads on the ice!

- the witch that talks to spirits

- everyone is lowkey horny and gay

- except for the main character (Jodie Foster) who has sad gay dad ™️ energy (helloooo fem!Francis)

…and that was only from episode 1!
