Green Eyes, Black Heart

I was only there for a few minutes and I went off so I don’t really know what happened throughout, sorry nonnie. 

“I would be happy to help you unpack. I wasn’t doing anything important anyways so I’m free to sort through clothes and hair products all day,” Payton responded with an enthusiastic smile, following Eleanor down the hall to her room. “Believe me you do not want to step foot in my room. It’s like Planet of the Apes collided with Jurassic World in there. Pretty much a warzone,” she embellished, thinking about the mess she never got around to cleaning and it wasn’t even that she was a messy person. She just didn’t find the motivation to do anything anymore. “You’re right. It is a very common name but still pretty. And thank you. No one’s really ever complimented my name before. They usually give me an earful on how terrible some American footballer is.”

“Sorting through clothes and hair products is pretty much what I’ve done for a living so far,” Eleanor chuckled before opening the door to her own room, her eyes lighting up at how beautiful the inside of it looked. “That sounds like my hair when I just wake up in the morning. Louis was always asleep before I combed it out but Bruce always hides under the bed when he sees me,” She smiled brightly, looking behind her at the blonde helping her lug the large bag onto the side of her bed. “Oh gosh, that must be annoying. If it makes you feel any better, I don’t know anything about American footballers so you won’t hear anything like that from me,” 

“You’ve come extra prepared, I don’t see anything wrong with that. Did you need help taking your bags to your room?” Megan asked politely, knowing who she was but also knowing clearly Eleanor 

“Besides the fact that it’s almost unbearably difficult to get it up to your room,” Eleanor laughed a little. “But yes, thank you, I’d love the help,”

“Yeah…I guess so, since she’s been here,” He nodded, feeling a little awkward all of a sudden. “1B, is that right? Nice one. Niall, Alex and Kale are all on that floor. None of the boys are on mine, which kind of sucks.”  He began lifting the suitcases to the top of the stairs two by two. “Oh um,” He startled a little at her question, not really sure what to say. “I’ve been…fantastic. Really really good. It’s pretty sweet living in a house full of your friends.” He kept moving up and down the stairs until he got the last piece of luggage up. “How’ve you been, El?”

She giggled a little when the lad mentioned not having any boys on his floor. “Oh I’m sure the girls must've been lovely to you in your floor,” Her head tilted a little at his reaction to her question but opted not to comment on it. “It is very... kind of sad I came a bit late but --- it wasn’t actually the most casual decision to make. It was really worth the wait though, this place is beautiful,” Eleanor gave him a thankful nod as he got the last piece of luggage up quite sure it would've taken her a few more hours attempting to carry the task out herself. “Me? -- Erm...” She shrugged. “I’ve been great...the blog’s running smoothly... Bruce misses you a bit of the time, he went all jumpy hearing your new single. Best laugh I’ve had in ages,” 

Harry gave the girl a tight lip smile before turning on his heel. Taking a peek back to make sure she was paying attention to him he forced a smile, “How was your trip?”

“It was good! Erm---- I had this cute family sitting beside me on the plane and I got to hold their baby girl. She was the most adorable little thing ever and kept giggling at the baby voice I was making,” Eleanor smiled a little to herself, looking down at her feet for a moment before pressing her lips together. “Uh---is your family doing good?”
