You may call me Raskolnikov. (Yes! From Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky)
I am a fellow writer and reader. I enjoy reading classics and dystopias. I am also extremely into politics, left-leaning (No liberal beliefs). I am also into psychology.
I like to explore darker topics in a non-romanticized wayāpreferring to show the gruesome parts of itāand sometimes indulge my whims. I will talk about PAFL here the most. Perhaps Iāll post my writings here as well.
Feel free to ask me about my stance on some ships, takes, dynamics, etc.

i could sob over olya. shes just. clearly something is wrong in her life. shes stalking for the thrill. she saves a kid's entire life. she has no talent. she does logistics for one of the greatest most horrifying facilities on earth. she knows it. she uses this knowledge to help stalkers. she lets a 13 year old fuck with her. she likes nice clothes. She has large influence over malitias. she likes juice boxes. the only emotion she ever shows is fear a couple of times. whats her problem (affectionate)

what does "indulge my whims" even mean bro. can you be clear on your stances so that survivors don't get blindsided by you posting triggering shit
Hello, dear Anon! By āindulging my whimsā I guess I was not quite clear. I merely just meant writing ideas I get and speaking about them in here that are considered gruesome. Iām sure Iāve made myself clear with what you may expect here by stating ādark fiction/themes/topics.ā However, I am quite sure I wonāt post anything sexual here if thatās a concern of yours.
If I do speak about them, I will not be explicit, but I will keep it in mind to put a TW and tag them properly. Thank you, dear Anon.
I will not give a stance on stuff like this because I have real life problems and stuff to do to be a functional society member.
Iāve been having extreme brainworms on this. I recently listened to āWe are made of meatā by Halle Uchida and the movie āBones And Allā so it has just gotten more fueled latelyā¦

I realize I perhaps might sound quite secretive about myself in this blog, yet this is only a secret blog meant to rant about my thoughts and writing. Ah, well, I am not merely important so
I recently read an Olanya fanfic on AO3 and it made me wonder more about the dynamic they could have where it isnāt a sweet āTeenage Girl Finds Comfort In Older Motherly-Figure Womanā but rather it shows more of a gruesome side to it. While I decided to skip a few parts for my sake here and there, it was rather new to read from all the other stuff in AO3.
The concept of them left me quite thinking, mostly Olya who was aware of the inappropriate context and situation she was in yet still indulged it. It made me think of the old PAFL lore in which she had a few inappropriate situations with Dmitry that werenāt inherently sexual but rather weird for their age difference. I like the new outlook into their relationship, and perhaps Iāll write something in it as well. I have also written a Seryura fanfic with a similar dynamic to them in my opinion.
I personally think that the way teens in PAFL are so unstable, it gives us so much opportunities to actually write how people with these struggles may develop disorders, unhealthy coping mechanisms, putting themselves in risky situations, acting immaturely, and any other stuff mentally ill teens whose parents donāt care about them would do.
Read at your own caution, mentions of dark/heavy/sensitive topics ahead. No, it isnāt romanticized nor fetishized.
Please pay mind I might come off as rotund or my words might not make sense, or perhaps my thoughts are messy. I will just ramble about my thoughts right now.
Yura and Anya? Perfect for writing how unstable parenting can lead kids to finding refuge or comfort in older authority figures. Iām not saying everyone should agree with my views nor am I romanticizing/fetishizing them in any way or form. In this case, I think we could explore more the relationship between Olya and Anya, and how it could be as unstable as any other relationship the girl could have. Not to mention that kids that grew up with a certain absent parental figure or issues with their parents, could grow to catch crushes on older people that remind them of a parental figure. I believe this could impact their future romantic relationship views.
Now, letās think about our fellow dissociative characters. Letās begin with Sanya and Arthur. In my opinion, the one that can be read the most as dissociative in this case IS Arthur. Rough gives us an extended look on his character and even his childhood trauma backs up this reading, as dissociation usually stems from childhood coping mechanisms to escape abuse or too stressful situations. Rough itās a painful yet realistic portrayal of how dissociation may feel or look like to some people. Now, Sanya. Sanya isnāt as explicitly stated to be dissociative as Arthur is, but it can still be seen mostly towards 100 Epitaphs and by this, I mean identity dissociation. I feel like Sanya could fit the most to DID criteria, to her apathy towards grief and how death couldāve impacted her childhood so much she learnt to desensitize from such emotions. Letās say⦠dissociation!
Moving onto Yura Beletsky and a tad bit of his relationship with Sanya Kazarina: He has so much layers to uncover that I really want to see more people analyze him and his character. Other than gender, I really want a more closer look to his brain. The fandom doesnāt really address how dependent he is on a 13-year-old despite him being 17, or how he constantly believes Sanya wouldnāt see the real him when he himself hasnāt even seen the real Sanya. I think both of them idealize each other that they believe nothing can be wrong with them, therefore they must put up a facade to fit the other as long as they can keep whatever they have going on. I think Point Zero will explore Sanyaās hidden side more and reveal to Yura how idealized he had Sanya to begin with. Sanya and Yura could be or ARE codependent on the other, but Yura just canāt see how far Sanya would be willing to go as long as itās for him. Iām sure Sanya would kill someone for Yura, and this will be shown through Point Zero.
Yura Beletsky uses drinking as a coping mechanism as well, on the aspect of his sexual life I believe that he would be impulsive and not be too careful in the matter. I think his depression could be more deep than that and have an underlining disorder, yet I havenāt been able to properly put my finger on it. At first I believed it could be a personality disorder, yet I couldnāt think properly of what criteria he couldāve fit. Perhaps Borderline Personality Disorder might be a good fit, but I could be wrong. I believe he also has low empathy yet still tries to provide for his sister and mother despite his lack of emotional bonding towards them. He also despises his dad for the conditions he has made his mother go under as long as she could feed Anya and Yura.
Regarding Dmitry, I think heās also very worth of trying to peel off layer by layer of his character. I think he actually could fit the criteria for Narcissistic Personality Disorder if I could elaborate just enoughāby the way, my blog doesnāt support any ānpd abuseā believersāand if you squint hard enough. He sees most people as idiots or easy to get rid off thanks to the advantages he holds due to his mutation, yet he makes a few exceptions for Olya and Anya. The way they treated him in the facility played a big part in the developing of this disorder due to them needing to treat him properly to avoid having him consider escaping and for an easier containment of his persona. It is also explicitly stated that he was abused in the facility too, meaning this couldāve played part in the forming of the disorder as well.
For tonight, that will be all my thoughts. Perhaps one day Iāll make an appropriate essay or writing regarding all my thoughts on PAFL. I have more thoughts on the PAFL characters but I will get to them soon.
