The Circle Gets Smaller
As we hopefully can start to move beyond this, I suspect there are big discussions going on about weeding out Hudson's circle from his hometown and Vancouver.
I mentioned yesterday that after what Connor went through with his obsessive stalker ex on social media, Hudson hopefully recognizes he has to lock down his circle. Connor got pushback for shutting down his social media, but now it is evident why it was necessary. We see the lengths people will go to - and probably will continue to try to do in the future, until they realize people see it for what it is - attacks on two young men who got too successful for the liking of some jealous and miserable people.
Hudson was the one they sent out to clean up the Jordan Firstman mess. Hudson did the anti-racism post with F (and I don't trust him either). Hudson's personality lends itself to forgiving and moving on. However, I hope he recognizes that this is not a luxury he can engage in on this problem from his friend group any longer. Whatever happened coming out of the CSAs I suspect triggered this kind of response from that part of the friend group.
Even if he did try to let it go, there are other interested parties that will not be okay with letting it go because Hudson is now an international business asset, too. I strongly suspect they will make him clean house and even examine some of the people who seem closest to him from that group.
I often wondered how Hudson and Connor immediately achieved best-friend status (beyond the obvious) - and I suspect part of it was that they had both experienced shadiness from so-called friends in their orbits. So glad they have each other.
We shall see, but I suspect that circle of friends gets much smaller soon.
