okay i still haven’t made my caine design for the rocky horror au cause i’m trying to decide if he would be human too

(my idea is he heard humans like recreating rocky horror and he allowed them to use human character models for the adventure. he found out about rocky horror by looking through databases for a “Sex Adventure” after Zooble asked for the ability to have sex.)

i know the fandom name for tfem jax is “daisy” but i kinda wanna come up with another potential name for her— like idk Xiomara/Mara, Briar— something strong but defensive if that makes sense

inspired by Fiona Apple’s song For Her AND the real life case of Lorena Bobbit!!

I’m very passionate about these two things and so i got to work with some chalk pastels!! I referenced a real photo of Lorena from her trial in which she held her hands hovering above her throat. Her abuser and (now) ex-husband would choke her and so i added his hand in a dark angry red to actualize the implied line of thought. I made her wedding band the fiery orange that appears in molten hot metals because what should be a symbol of love was just keeping her tied to the man who hurt her time and time again.

Lorena is the only real person I have drawn in any of my Fiona Apple inspired works. Her case was a literal wakeup call in cases of marital rape— because she fought back. Its the perfect actualization of the “Good Morning”— its sour and full of hate. The song goes from a steady, almost monotonous, string of words that if you really weren’t listening you’d miss the story thats being told. It builds and builds and eventually… it breaks.
