rosemary fisher was a young girl living in derry, maine, raised and homeschooled by her devoutly religious mother. thanks to her mother's rather extreme teachings (as well as punishments), rosemary became frequently anxious--especially in regards to herself. she virtually had no friends, as anyone her age would have to be vetted and approved by her mother (which would be nigh impossible). the most rosemary was permitted to do was go to church and run small errands; any other activities would be supervised by her mother, which essentially squashed rosemary's chances of socializing.
come that one fateful summer, rosemary comes across a group of kids her age---who she would befriend and eventually join. however, things quickly go awry when a monster begins to terrorize them, feeding off of their fears. rosemary, in particular, was a vulnerable and easily exploitable target. her fears of eternal damnation and sin and shame made her one of the most susceptible to the creature's torture. but due to her faithful loyalty in her new friends, rosemary perseveres and helps them to defeat the monster. and she joins them in their blood pact to return to derry should the horrifying beast return.
appearance:
rosemary has fair skin and dark brown hair, as well as soft brown eyes. she has an inherently shy demeanor, often hugging her arms to her chest or shrinking into herself to try and be smaller. at the behest of her mother's teaching about modesty, rosemary often wears long-sleeve shirts, layered by cardigans or sweaters, as well as skirts that reach her ankles. rosemary will remain as covered up as possible, even during summer's heat. her eyes can be described as doe-like, wide and round. her eyebrows are almost always slightly furrowed, creating a mousy expression. even as an adult, these behaviors and mannerisms linger--though they're more toned down and subtle.
