Really loving this whitewashing of the Free Palestine activists who were in the streets celebrating on 10/8. Everyone remembers how y'all were cheering when Israeli men, women, and children were being raped and burned alive, when Thai farm workers were getting the heads chopped off with shovels, when African students were getting their heads plugged with bullets.
You were all out and proud and cheering on 10/8. You were saying "This is what decolonization looks like." Where's that pride now? Why are you suddenly getting shy when your posts and videos are being played back to you?
We are not “conflating” Jews with Israel or Zionism.
The people you are talking about are still Jewish. Being Israeli or Zionist does not negate that,
That the accusations you are leveling at them are still the same accusations Christians and Muslims and Nazis leveled at Jews for centuries to oppress and murder us,
That you routinely dismiss and distort fundamental aspects of Jewish history, identity, and lived experience to meet your rhetorical goals,
That you dismiss the voice of any Jew who points any of this out as deception & manipulation. You portray us as sinister, devious, violent, controlling. Our explanations are treated as propaganda. You conflate members of our tribe with our oppressors.
At what point do you open your eyes and recognize that is unacceptable? That if us being Jewish wasn’t a part of why you are treating us this way, all of this wouldn’t be the case?
Leftists: Have no fear, ethnic minority, I, a european coloniser with at best a C in high school american and european history, am here to correct you of your misconceptions about your own people and history which I have never bothered to learn anything about! I am very anti-racist and anti-colonial. Now, get out of your own country, your foreign conquerors are the real natives.

Blessings for a good week, a healthy week, a safe week, a successful week, a profitable week, and a really bad week for our enemies and those trying to hurt us.
You know, I’m not Jewish, but I really think I and my fellow non-Jews need to take a step back, notice that basically every Jewish holiday these days opens with antisemitic violence and Jews being attacked or killed, and realize that it’s not only a serious issue but that it’s our issue to fix.
I am not a Jew. The deactivated user is 100% right and I hope they are doing okay. I know exactly what the OP went through because I've been through it myself. All for saying "Hey, let's not be shitty to Jews" and "Hey, antisemitism is a problem." and "Hey, maybe stop with the Nazi shit." and "Hey, that's propaganda from a terrorist organization, and it's weird you're okay with that." with varying degrees of swearing.
Antisemitism is a fucking problem, and people who claim to care about Jews and continue to ignore that fact do not, in fact, care about Jews.

Goyische leftists will be like "why am I getting recommended Nazi content. I'm not antisemitic im anti zionist"
Except they're pushing nazi rhetoric themselves.
ZOG aka zionist occupied government is a neo nazi dogwhistle. Nazis learnt YONKS ago that if they use dogwhistles instead of saying "jews" their content can fly under the radar. ZOG literally means "da joos control da government"
Every time you use a well known nazi dogwhistle and go "but I mean it in a leftist way not a nazi way", a neo nazi creams their pants. You cannot use a neo nazi dogwhistle in a leftist way, because its a neo nazi dogwhistle.
Like the whole point of a dogwhistle is, so the true meaning isn't immediately obvious. If you think neo nazis haven't already been all over "zionist" to use as a dogwhistle, then you are stupider than a neo nazi which is a hard thing to achieve.
The Chabad emissaries moved out and are looking for a new home, but the Rebbetzin wrote that it was difficult to leave the house where they
To sum up the article, in April 2025, the chabad house in Nepal was broken into via a smashed window and vandalized. That was the first time in the 25 years of being in Nepal that chabad house was targeted.
This and the general rise in antisemitism has led the landlord to fear that the Islamic regime of Iran would suspect him of being a spy if there was a Jewish presence at his property. Chabad has confirmed that the landlord is not antisemitic.
The landlord is evicting chabad for his own safety.
Whilst it would be nice for the landlord to stick up for his jewish tenants, I honestly do not blame him. Jewish safety in Nepal shouldn't be his responsibility alone, especially when he is putting himself at risk.
And overall, it just fucking sucks that associating with jews puts your safety at risk.
When are we going to recognize that this is a fucking hate movement. When the leaders of a movement across the board unilaterally support terrorists shooting up music festivals in Israel, and Hanukkah festivals in Australia, and random fucking people coming out of the Jewish museum, and setting synagogues on fire, and setting old Jewish women on fire, and raise money for self described "Jew haters" caught trying to kill more Jews, it's a fucking hate movement.
Matt Chun as far as I know is someone who by his own logic perpetrates colonialism by being a white man on colonized land. All I see are buzz-words he himself refuses use properly half the time by crossing them out. What a hypocritical and hateful piece of shit.
I haven’t consistently checked in on anything happening on the cesspool formerly known as twitter in many weeks (Nov/Dec were really hard and overwhelming for irl reasons, so I tapped out of keeping up with all the awfulness going on, and probably would have even more so had it not been for Bondi).
anyway, you might be familiar with Rachel Moiselle, I’ve shared her writing and posts often as she’s been updating about the terrible antisemitism occurring in Ireland. I don’t know that I would qualify Ireland’s obvious Jew hatred epidemic as “worse” than any other of the nations in Europe also exhibiting this, but each country is a bit unique in the ways it manifests. Irish Twitter becomes enraged when anyone addresses what’s happening there, but apparently it’s escalated to a new extent.
Rachel wrote a piece about the Bondi massacre and the response there, and the harassment and threats became so intense that she’s, at least momentarily, had to leave social media for her own safety.
this is a significant example of how voices either within or allied to the Jewish community are harassed and intimidated into silence persistently and cruelly.
she is pro-peace, pro-humanity, critical of both the Israeli government and Hamas, but none of this is not good enough to protect her when she dares to speak up for Jews.
everyone defending her is being met with antisemitism and denial that it’s even happening in their comments too.
here is Rachel’s article. please read it.
Rachel Moiselle: Seven out of ten people say Ireland has no antisemit…
Last week a Jewish artist friend of mine posted a drawing of the photo on X and a commenter went viral for the succinct and cutting remark: “Now here are some guys who really were stabbed in the back.”
An estimated 100,000 German Jews donned military uniform between 1914 and 1918; around 78,000 served on the front line; 30,000 received decorations; 12,000 died for their country.
By the mid-1930s, it was clear to Jewish veterans that, to the Nazis, Germany wasn’t their country at all. Ultimately, they shared the fate of the rest of their Jewish brethren: no number of war medals could offer any protection from the concentration camps.
In the wake of the antisemitic Bondi Beach Hanukkah massacre, which resulted in the murder of 15 people, including a Holocaust survivor and a 10-year-old girl, I saw the echoes of that betrayal in the anguish of the Australian Jewish community.
Victoria Teplitsky, the daughter of a Holocaust survivor who was wounded in the massacre, spoke on camera about how Jews in Australia had experienced “a massive change” in attitude towards them. She achingly pleaded: “I’m Aussie, I’m Aussie, you know.”
Holding her photo close to his chest in front of a crowd, the father of the 10-year-old girl who was murdered said: “We came here from Ukraine… and I named her Matilda because she was our firstborn in Australia. And I thought Matilda was the most Australian name that could ever exist. So just remember — remember her name.” He then broke down and turned to his wife.
The Australian Jewish community are loyal Australians, and they were inexcusably betrayed. Teplitsky placed partial responsibility on the Australian media’s biased reporting for the explosion in hostility Australian Jews had experienced; Matilda’s parents have said the Australian government “failed” their daughter.
This profound betrayal is something Jews across the diaspora are experiencing. A few years ago, I dated a fiercely proud American Jewish Democrat from New York.
He has since become despondent due to the betrayal of his liberal political allies, remarking to me in the lead-up to the latest US presidential election: “I don’t feel like my fate is bound that closely to anyone except Jews, I look on American politics as an outsider.”
Ireland is no exception to this trend of societies turning their backs on loyal Jewish citizens. Maurice Cohen, chairman of the Jewish Representative Council of Ireland, relayed the words of one of his best friends to the Oireachtas in July: “I always thought of myself as an Irishman, who happened to be Jewish. Now I know I am just a Jew, living in Ireland.”
The perception of Jews as being morally alien was brought into stark focus with the malicious attempt by Dublin City Council members to change Herzog Park’s name against the wishes of the local community.
Perhaps even more revealing was the astonishingly conspiratorial rhetoric from councillors after the proposal was dismissed on a legal technicality. It was breathtaking to witness councillor after councillor go on unchallenged rants spouting tropes of Jewish control and money.
One expressed his opinion that “Israeli intelligence” had called the Taoiseach telling him to dismiss the proposal (I think Israeli intelligence have more pressing matters to contend with). Another branded the objections to the motion as a “full-court press by the Zionist lobby”.
The campaign against the name change (“Hands Off Herzog Park”) was a successful grassroots one led online by members of the Irish Jewish community and allies. We are not a foreign intelligence or lobbying entity. We are equal children of this nation, just as Chaim Herzog himself was.
When Herzog inspected a guard of honour at Dublin Airport in 1985 during a state visit as Israeli president, the Irish Army band played both the Irish and Israeli national anthems, just as the Irish Jewish community did at our October 7 commemoration this year.
On the second night of Hanukkah, the Irish Jewish community gathered at Herzog Park to light the Hanukkah menorah and we were honoured to have Chaim’s granddaughter, Dr Alexandra Herzog, with us for the ceremony. She spoke about how Ireland was not merely a pit-stop for her grandfather. Rather, it was the country — his country — that shaped who he was.
Speaking to Alexandra, I told her something I have had to say to myself many times over the past two years: “You’re Irish, too.” Irish history and identity belongs to us just as much as it belongs to the councillors who sought to erase Irish-Jewish memory.
On the seventh night of Hanukkah, the Irish Jewish community and friends gathered at Mansion House to light the menorah. We heard an emotive speech by the granddaughter of another esteemed Jewish man and Irish patriot: former TD and Dublin Lord Mayor Robert Briscoe. Vivienne Briscoe spoke about how proudly Irish the Briscoe family were and are: Robert was named after Robert Emmet; his brother after Wolfe Tone.
At the close of her speech, Vivienne said she hoped her grandfather would be proud of her. I have no doubt that he would be, but would he be proud of Ireland in this moment?
Would he be proud that the Irish Jewish community now feels intimidated out of public life despite his own significant contributions in this domain? Would he be proud that a litmus test is placed on Jews in Irish society — denounce connection to the Jewish ancestral homeland or face ostracisation? Would he be proud that, against the opinions and experiences of the Irish Jewish community for whom this hatred targets, there is widespread denial that there is an antisemitism problem here at all?
An Ireland Thinks poll for the Sunday Independent conducted last week asked: “Do you believe Ireland has an antisemitism problem?” Only 21pc responded “yes”, with a shocking 70pc voting “no” and 9pc voting “don’t know”. What I would say to that 70pc is: why are you denying the lived experiences of your Irish Jewish brothers and sisters? Why is the majority of Ireland not listening to its own people?
I think often of the quote by Polish communist Isaac Deutscher, who stated after the Holocaust that he had “long since abandoned my anti-Zionism, which was based on a confidence… in European society and civilisation, which that society and civilisation have not justified”.
In refusing to listen and accept the concerns of its Jewish sons and daughters, Irish society has punctured the confidence that many of us had in this great nation and, indeed, has strengthened the case for Zionism.
“Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country” is a famous phrase by yet another esteemed son of Ireland. This is a value the Jewish community have lived by since their arrival here in the 1600s. It is not too much to ask for one thing in return: listen.
Jewish contribution is woven into the fabric of Irish society, and Irish Jews should be included in the nation’s destiny with out qualification. Listen to the living and breathing Jewish community here to ensure that this integral part of our shared Irish identity is not confined to the shadows and ultimately lost.
Things People Blame the Jews For Volume LXXVII: The Maduro Abduction
It's 2026, and I can't think of a better way to ring in the new year than a fresh edition of "Things People Blame the Jews For."
Today's entrant comes from Venezuela, still reeling after America unlawfully abducted President Nicolas Maduro. At one level, it's understandable that people are trying to figure out exactly what happened. On another level, it's really obvious what happened: America unlawfully abducted President Nicolas Maduro. Nobody is hiding the ball. There aren't a ton of layers to unpack here.
But if you're the new acting Vice President of Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez, is it enough to state the obvious: America unlawfully abducted Nicolas Maduro? No -- there's got to be another angle:
“The governments of the world are simply shocked that it is the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela which is the victim and subject of an attack of this nature, which has, without a doubt, a Zionist tint,” said Rodriguez in a televised speech, according to the Mexican public broadcaster.
[...]
There was no evidence to suggest Israel had any role or even knowledge of the American plan to capture Maduro.
Unsurprisingly, it is Venezuela's beleaguered Jewish community that is going to bear the brunt of this, and they're already bracing for the worst:
Jewish community leaders ... reported that all Jewish institutions, including synagogues, had been ordered closed, and Jewish people were instructed to remain at home. Additionally, security around Jewish institutions had been heightened.
(The copy here is ambiguous as to whether the "order" came from the government or from Jewish community leaders as a safety precaution. Either way is bad; the former obviously would be much, much worse).
It's a little difficult to write about this, since it feels like such a side issue against the far greater problem that America invaded a sovereign nation to unlawfully abduct its head of state. Of course, there's little question that Maduro is a schmuck, and Venezuela would be better off without him at the helm. But speaking as the resident of a county currently led by a schmuck and which would be far better off without him at the helm, this doesn't license random foreign nations going in and unlawfully abducting the head of state. And one reason why doing that is bad is that the knock-on effects -- even for populations which may have very good reason to detest said head of state -- are very hard to predict and do not tend to redound well either to occupier or occupied. The United States, of all countries, should know that by now.
