Yeah, I gotta be honest with myself... this is all I'll be able to do for this year. It was just really hard to manage myself this year and ended up burning out quick this time. Even though didn't do as much, I will say did have a lot of highs this year.

And I can't believe the incredible art I received this year I will cherish it, thank you to everyone who attacked me this year and I promise I'll come back stronger next time around.

recently i'd been getting back into katamari since one of my coworkers is a fan of the series and i forgot just how awesome this entire franchise is. the obsession came back in full swing right as i got accepted into the telemarketing channel spamtenna zine

these were my first concept sketches, where i was trying to figure out how i wanted to design tenna. i wanted to keep his original outfit as much as i could, but the colors came out way too superhero-like. so that was scrapped and i went back and forth with my homies to figure out his outfit and colors

this was the final ref ! i wanted to keep things simple while also giving the katamari vibe but not losing the characters in the process. i didnt want it to feel like he was just the king with a reskin. same with spamton as the prince.

i definitely want to expand on this au, especially with spamton and tenna's relationship since i didnt want to get too caught up in the yaoi department before i even got past the world building..... but heres the sketches that didnt make it into the comic

He is an copy hability mage !~

He's the reason of why all the copy hability rooms and palaces exists hidden around Pop Star ,even the gigant hidden tower that stores all of them ,besides the copy bubbles AND the hability scrolls we see in Kirby and the forgotten land,he is kind,joyfull , full of whimsy and hungry for knowledge

Ironically unlike how the squeak kind is (Some born with psychic powers like Daroach,some can have hyper strenght,speed,manage to mutate etc...) , he born powerless and to add salt to wound he is extremly tiny even to his age,barely being slightly taller than Kirby, that caused in his youth to usually being minimized and getting pity from everyone,even from his (helicopter) parents

Regarless of it,that didn't stop his curiosity and need to explore,investigate and learn about the almost lost magic in Pop Star, after overcome too many challenges and learning more over time we can say he managed to learn how to use the copy habilities our lovely Kirby uses effortless today,even copy fusions or the ultra ones

there is an ABSURD amount of these i have just sketched,too many i can't even have space to show,god give me patience to finish them all...

And to this day ,even if we can consider him an expert on the matter and a powefull foe specially with the bubble hability,he still learns new habilities and ways to use them everyday!~

But....mmm...something in all this info is MISSING isn't it,whats up with the gigant form i am right guys?~

Lets present to you all the real power hidden within the triple star . and the form that Pérez unleashes....

Upon breaking the wand ,it turns Pérez in pure stardust as well the Triple Star reveals its true colours ,being rare stones that Pérez found in odd places in his youth ,unleashing all the power of [ Life ]

The wand of wonder now evolved into the Trias Asteria gives Pérez the strenght to slice the sky,open portals to make constellations rain down as well other celestial bodies,capable of put a challenge to even the most ancient and dark beings.

The stars awakened on Pérez the genetic of his ancestors , those are some... familiar beings we might had seen before in an forgotten land, a form and powers SO ancient that hold a huge price and cost to mantain it the longest possible as it completly breaks im his adorable form,even his ribs are exposed !! Geez....

The thing that he needs is stardust or lets say more cleary life energy to keep it which he can gather from its surrondings in a very...odd and familiar way,if not the Pérez might perish as its too much power for a small squeak to handle,of course he would REFUSE to sacrifice living conscious beings to stay in such way so he purposely let the light leave him when he feels he is running out of power,restoring both his and the Triple star form,encasing its entire light once more within the wand.

but....who knows if a sacrifice of some might be needed for the sake of millions one day....or maybe he would be willing to sacrifice himself ,who knows,who knows....

And....all of that,to defeat Nebula???? Yeah! She was an threat barely few knew or believed it existed it she arrived ,including him,preparing for decades for her arrival and even if he became victorious ....

That doesn't mean there wasn't many >>>[ bitter endings to some people ,some maybe where....too close to him. ]<<<<

Buuuuut,thats story AND ilustrations for another day,phew! that was ALOT to write! Hope you all love Pérez,any questions can be asked as im open for all those,thanks for you attention and have a nice day !
