it was on a cold afternoon

you had just texted me talking about someone you were seeing

and at the same fucking time i was looking at some of our pictures

that was when i realized that maybe we werent just friends anymore

honestly it was kinda hard to accept it but i did it and told you and you liked me too

it all worked out for some time

until it didnt

until i realized i was falling in love but not only a person - a woman, my best friend

there was no fucking way THAT would work out cause you know my family would never accept it and i would never have the strenght to fight for it - to fight for us

im so so so sorry for not being enough and not being what you needed even though i knew you were exactly what i needed

its been a while since the last time i thought of you and its been a while since it hurted the last time

i just caught myself thinking about what it could have been and every single thing we could have lived if i tried any harder

i have fallen in love with only one person since you

it wasnt the same and it didnt work out - again (even though it was a man this time :p)
