Hi! I painted a cute little bird known as Red-backed Shrike. It's a very rare bird in the UK and one was spotted recently hence why I've seen a photo of it online that sparked my creativity to try and paint this little one. I've used Watercolor paints, Colored Pencils and Watercoloured Pencils, a White Gel Pen and some Acrylic Markers.

English Weather - This morning, one minute is pouring down, the next is sunny like nothing happened..

For some reason I can't just grab a colouring book and use my pencils.. I have to draw and ink and then colour it.. Why? Why do I have to make things complicated?!

This week I painted some Cats and Their Toys with Watercolour Paints 🐈😻🐈‍⬛ I also tried to apply some watercolour techniques.

Gladiolus is the birth flower for the month of August and I thought drawing some could be a cute idea. I did the right side one first and used watercolour pencils. I didn't use any water on the left side one though. Which one looks nicer? Let me know. 🌹
