A)Theon and Robb get married soon as shit starts to go down at winterfell. I think that before that they weren’t even engaged.

B) They are engaged but Catelyn still makes the deal with the freys and the engagement is left in the air.

Either way eventually Robb sends her back to Winterfell. To care for the castle and mind his brothers.

(For the first time in years Theon was beyond the walls of her jail and the man who claimed to love her sent her right back.)

They don’t communicate, Theon feels betrayed, unsafe, unstable. Robb was already changing. Becoming a king, someone she didn’t recognize. Now he’s far away and who knows what his advisors are saying to him.

Theon sleeps in his clothes, in his bed, and wakes from nightmares where his blade meets her throat.

When she gets word of the ironborn raids she invited them to Winterfell. Maybe to make peace. Maybe for protection against the wolves that surround her.

Either way she betrays the good kind Robb. The great king Robb.
