The first and probably the last contribute for MerMay :D

I’ve been in a bit of an art rut recently, so I decided to just do something different and fun to help shake out of it. In this case that translated to trying my hand at a more JRPG style character complete with a little sprite mock up. I have to say, while it’s far from the best pixel art I’ve done, I think it’s been something like half a decade since I last tried making a pixel art sprite, and while it isn’t perfect I was pretty pleased at how quickly the old pixel art skills came back. If I had the time I’d try and crank out five more of these and I think I’d have some pretty good sprites by the end of it.
