i miss you a lot - your smile, your eyes, your randomness, your energy.

but do.you miss me? that's the question i needn't be asking — do you think of me like i do, do you miss me like i miss you?

it feels like the answer is no.

and that's okay -

you have SO much ahead of you to experience and live - i don't, nor do i refuse to intervene. i'm just a someone now - i don't want to be important anymore.

im still choosing to root for you and be happy for you as you make memories with your loved ones and nee people, etc.

but i have to move on from this anchor that has me wondering "what if" and let go —

isn't that what we all want and deserve? well, at least i want this: someone that genuinely wants me in their life, someone that makes time for me, someone that's not okay with not talking to me for a day or more. i want someone that wants me in their life and isn't afraid to express that as well through both their words and actions. i want someone who will share with me randomness and keep me involved in their life. i want someone that makes me feel wanted.

we all want that, right? or is it just me?

i deserve to be a priority just as much as I'll make someone a priority.
