• Levi secretly hates the age difference between Historia and himself, and if he thinks about it too hard it makes him feel like a creepy old git. It’s a good job Historia can sometimes come out with things mature beyond her years, as it makes it easier for Levi to forget!
• Historia shares Levi’s fondness for tea, although she doesn’t consider herself a ‘tea snob’ like him - he’s adamant he’s going to educate her in the way of ‘quality’ tea, because the leaves she keeps at the orphanage are, in his words, ‘shit.’ But that doesn’t stop him sharing a cup with her every time he stops by.
• Hange is the only one that knows about the Captain and Queen’s relationship, and takes great delight in winding Levi up about it all. She has also been known to offer Historia advice about him, on occasion.
• Historia actually loves the Captains miniature stature, because it makes him the perfect height for kissing.
• It floors Levi that Historia is one of the only people from the 104th who is no longer intimidated by him, and is quite confident to call him out or challenge him. It’s such a refreshing feeling for the Captain, and he loves her spirit.
• When Historia visits the city for royal engagements, Levi sneaks into her quarters after dark using his ODM gear.
• When she’s in town, Levi makes a point of setting up meetings with the Queen to discuss non- existent matters concerning the Orphanage or her personal security. In actuality they drink tea, eat sandwiches and catch up with no-one to disturb them.
• Levi lets Historia fall asleep in his arms, but because he still has an aversion to beds, he’s now adopted a favourite armchair in her room which he sneaks into once she’s asleep. Historia finds him there in the morning each time he stays with her.
• Historia lets Levi know she’s missing him when they’re apart by using the Royal budget to have his favourite tea leaves or brand of soap delivered to his office. There’s never a note to say where it comes from but he knows.
• Levi actually has a jealous streak, which rears its head during state functions. He can most often be found glowering in a corner; everyone assumes it’s because he simply hates the decadence of it all, when in actual fact he’s keeping close tabs on all the handsome young nobles asking Historia to dance.
• Historia is fully aware of Levi watching, so she takes the opportunity to wind him up by dancing with handsome young men all evening. She does it really though because she loves how clingy and possessive he becomes with her when they are alone later.
• Sometimes Levi does or says things which remind Historia of Ymir; she’s never told him though.
• Levi can often be overprotective and worries a lot about Historia - likely due to the fact he’s already lost so many people close to him. Because of this, he takes a personal interest in her security whenever she attends royal engagements, and insists on private self defence training sessions to keep her sharp. These often result in high levels of sexual tension between the pair.
• At the start of their relationship, Levi had to reprimand Historia on several occasions for calling him 'Captain’ when they were in bed together. It made him very uncomfortable.
• At the start of their relationship, Historia was inexperienced in the bedroom department, which meant Levi taking the lead. Historia quickly learnt, growing in confidence and, to Levi’s surprise and amusement, is now the more adventurous one.
• Levi loves his sly visits to the orphanage, because there’s always a fresh pot of (shit) tea waiting, a hot bath drawn to soak his tired feet, and Historia’s hands to massage his aching shoulders. The pair often sit in her bedroom up in the eaves of the building talking into the early hours.
• Historia hates it when Levi is deployed on missions because, even though she’s aware of his strength and ability, his bravery scares her. She secretly wishes sometimes that she were still a scout, just so that she could be beside him during dangerous excursions.
• Levi is often more inclined to follow Historia’s orders and agree with her - this is due to her Royal blood and his Ackergenes at work.
