93° in Tampa today.
Feels like 101°.
Still got outside and moved.
At 60, I’m learning that consistency matters more than speed now.
Just keep moving.

60 years old.
Trying to stay active, healthy, and keep moving
Got outside this morning in downtown Tampa before the heat really kicked in.
Hopefully this reminds someone else my age that movement still matters.
First run as a 60 year old. Done.
Tampa Riverwalk. 3:30pm. 91 degrees. Feels like 97. 3.3 miles. 9 minute pace.
Felt great. Time to replenish.
Keep moving is my therapy. At 60 that is not changing.
What is your therapy? Drop it below.

60 today.
3.36 miles in the Tampa heat.
Little winded at the end, but still got it done.
Keep training.
Keep pushing.
Keep moving.
Saturday morning. Bright sunshine. 85 degrees in Tampa.
6.5 miles through downtown. 9 minute pace. One hour of movement.
Almost 60 and feeling great. Energized. Ready for the day.
Keep moving. That is the whole message. Always.
How did you start your Saturday? Drop it below.

Busy Monday at the desk. Did not push back until 3:45.
93 degrees on the Tampa Riverwalk. 3.3 miles. 8:30 pace. Very warm.
But I got it done. Almost 60 years old and movement is the key to everything.
No matter how busy the day gets. No matter how hot it is. Just move.
What gets you moving on a busy day? Drop it below.

60 is not the finish line. It is the starting line.
Change your lifestyle now. Move more. Stay consistent. Get better every single day.
I was overweight in my 40s. Almost 60 now and in the best shape of my life.
If I can do this you absolutely can too. It is never too late.
Are you ready to make that change? Drop it below.
Almost 60. Monday on the Tampa Riverwalk.
3.3 miles. 8:23 pace. Just an amateur runner showing up every single week.
No elite training. No special talent. Just consistency.
At almost 60 that is the whole secret.
How are you staying consistent? Reblog and tell me.

Almost 60.
5 miles before lunch.
Windy and overcast in Tampa.
Not easy, but got it done.
Almost 60.
1:30pm run in the Tampa sun.
4 miles at 8:44.
Felt strong, but the heat is coming.
Still pushing.

90° today.
3.3 miles at 8:38.
I’ve learned this after decades—
if you only train when you feel good, you won’t last.
90 degrees. Breezy. 3pm Monday in Tampa. 😳🔥
3.4 miles at 8:39 pace. A little warm. A little tough. Almost 60 years old.
But the moment it’s over — it feels absolutely incredible every single time. 😁✔️
That feeling is exactly why I keep showing up. Week after week. No matter what.
How did you move today? Reblog and tell me 👇

8.5 miles cruising around Tampa ! 😎🏃♂️ ☀️
Beautiful midday run. 9:40 pace - Still showing up as I get close to 60 😁
Didn’t break any records today. 😁
4 miles through downtown Tampa at 4pm. Hit every single red light. Tampa traffic is absolutely getting out of hand. 😎
But I’m calling it interval training and moving on. 🏃♂️✔️
Almost 60 and still finding a way to get it done every single day. Consistency doesn’t care about red lights or traffic or excuses.
The wind made it tough today. Not gonna lie. 🌬️
83 degrees. 3.5 miles on the Tampa Riverwalk. 8:30 pace. 4pm Tuesday. Running into a headwind at almost 60 is no joke.
But this place — the Tampa Riverwalk — is one of the most beautiful places to run anywhere. And when your route looks like this getting outside and moving feels less like a workout and more like a gift.
Almost 60. Showing up anyway. Wind and all.

Not gonna lie — that run felt more like a sprint than anything else. 😤
3.25 miles. 8:09 pace. 83 degrees. 4pm Monday in Tampa. Almost 60 years old.
A lot of people think getting closer to 60 means easing up. Slowing down. Taking it easy.
I completely disagree. Getting closer to 60 means you push harder. Prove something to yourself. Show up and give it everything.
That run hurt a little. And I loved every second of it. 💪
Turning 60 in just a few weeks. 😳
Midday run on the Tampa Riverwalk — 4 miles, Body feels absolutely amazing.
Time flies faster than you think.
My message to anyone my age — walk, skip, run, jump. I don’t care what you do. Just be active. Keep moving. You’ll never regret it.
Reblog if you’re still moving at 50+. 💪
