Roman tilted his head as if he was weighing his options. âHere I thought you might be happy to see me.â It was a bit surprising to see her there. Roman supposed he couldâve missed her in all the hustle and bustle that heâd been swept up in since arriving in Oscan, but hers was a face that was hard to forget. âI know Iâm pleased to see you. At least I know thereâs one person currently in this country who isnât incredibly dull...besides me, of course.â
